Unfortunately, I don't think we live remotely close to each other but the thought was there and appreciated.
I currently deal with a racist, sexist, rude, everyone-hates-her boss. And I have worked with her for 5 years now... So take that for what it is... |

Ugh, I worked with a bunch of racially biased managers at the store I used to work for. I couldn't get a promotion, because I was white [I'm no longer white. I'm apparently a black Mexican. It's...a long running joke.] But they claimed it was other reasons. So yeah, there was that. Hallo, SapClo/Cat! |

Sounds like the place that you used to work at is pretty terrible! One of my previous store managers ended up basically inventing a reason to get me fired. She didn't like that all the customers thought I was the boss since I had been there since the store location opened and preferred to deal with me. Some customers even refused to be served by her! Retail is the worst industry to work in! |
Yeah, I worked there for five years. My final year there, they wouldn't give me a raise, and then wouldn't give me full-time [for the umpteenth time]. I put my two weeks notice, saying that I wanted to stay home and raise my son. It wasn't a lie. xD Apparently, umpteenth is a word, lol. No red, squiggly line underneath! xD |

Wow, yeah, I'm working as an intern at a print and marketing company, and basically getting paid minimum wage for half of the actual hours that I work... So, I am spending the whole day slacking off today, lol. Revisiting some old forums and making some pixel money! It's good that you got that time to spend raising your son instead of putting up with the stupidity of people! :) |
