I wish I had straight hair. Mine curls after I think 1 1/2 to 2 inches or so.

Mine does not hold a curl. It is rather thin and somewhat lifeless...

My hair is naturally wavy...and I like the look of straight hair. So....I've done the clothing iron straightening in the past to achieve the look. These days I use a hair straightener when I have time...otherwise I'd tie my hair up in a ponytail or a bun.

My mom use to use a clothing iron back in the day. She has super curly and textured hair. Ponytails are my go-to when my hair gets the greasy look but I'm too lazy to shower.

Yeah...ponytails are what I do when I'm lazy to style it properly....which is probably an unfortunate explanation for why people mostly see me out and about with a ponytail.

By combing it? It gets the tangles out and helps the hair get straighter, yes.

Ah, see I have a process. Down the first day or two. Then if I bother, I'll curl when it's just a little bleh and then ponytail.

My hair is wavy now. When I was younger it was bone straight. It now has a nice natural wave in it.

Straight hair is pretty. I have no idea what I look like with a big poof of natural curls because my momma refuses to allow that.

My hair's naturally a big curly poof. It's a pain (literally) to straighten, so that's why she has never let my hair stay like that. Plus, she doesn't like how it looks, yes. After the straightening's done, my bangs are curled in a neater, more appealing way.

My hair is straight, fine and boring. I like it real short so it's easier to take care of. Otherwise it's just flat mop of a mess.

I don't see much of "African Hair" here, so I'm not really sure what it looks like. Most people of that general ethnicity up here always seem to have very short hair.
