I mean, I can understand why but was worth a shot. Your next best bet is someone with a cherry picker or something...
per my googling information:
Quote:

Don't call the fire department. Instead, hire a tree service. Meet a few contractors who make a habit of climbing up after intrepid felines. Contrary to popular belief, if your cat gets stuck in a tree, the local fire department isn't likely to come out and rescue the kitty with one of their ladder trucks.
|
Which makes sense. Unfortunately you are nowhere near me as I know a few tree guys that we insure...

I'd second what dae says. That or kitty may have to learn to climb down. We had a cat that did that, before we could go get her she climbed down somehow.

Not all cats are that smart though. But I do know cats can jump from very high heights and be safe. But overall may be better to invest in a ladder if nobody will help.

I hate dry coughing. I can deal with all the other ailments of being sick (running nose, stuffy head, headaches, body aches, sore throat) but dry coughing is the worst.

If only. PS to top off my horrible dry coughing (which is slowly turning into wet coughing which is far more tolerable), I have a cold sore popping up. Just can't bounce back right now.

Not unless you pick at it a lot. Also depends on how your body reacts to them. Like some people probably do have ones that hurt and others can have them all over their lips. I've gotten them since I was a kid but they are more a hassle than anything. I pick at my lips and fuss with it too much. Also it looks ugly, especially when it starts scabbing over.

Lol, I am trying a different approach that seems to be working ok. Just don't touch it. No creams or ointments to fuss with and it seems to have gone down of its own accord.

Like I said, I've had it for years and my mom always made me put stuff on it. Which I guess ultimately made my picking of it worse. Because it would scab over (very noticeably) and then that would bother me. This time, it scabbed over a small bit and is pretty much almost gone.

Debt needs the opposite, like a pickax, to take care of it.
