Oh of course not. Modern caskets means you never return to the earth.

That's grooooss to think about, though. Those bodies not decaying under the ground…

It's sad really. You 've lived your life off the flora and fauna of this world, but die so selfishly that you won't return it to them when it is your turn.

Sadly cremation burns away all the nutrients, and also doesn't help nature.

Indeed, people are selfish!

Thinking about a body being eaten by worms and whatnot is even more gross.

True but eventually you become part of a wolf, a bird, and many many other things.

You also probably have some of the same basic building blocks that a dinosaur once used :)

I'm not a dinosaur fan, but that was indeed my first thought. Recycled dinosaurs everywhere!

Yup. You're also made of star dust. Meaning you're one pop song a way from being a pop star.

Singing can be learned just need a proper teacher and some practice. Unless you're tone deaf like me

Calluses on overworked vocal cords. The reason singers sometimes have to get surgery and stop singing for a while in hopes of not losing their voice forever.

Ouch. That's why you just do one hit song and then stop and live off the money from it.

Poor Adele had to have vocal surgery twice!

When my ex-husband's mom passed away, they had her cremated and wanted to sprinkle her ashes over the graves of her father, mother and youngest son...but the cemetery refused to allow it...saying something about spreading potential toxic waste!
(I'm not positive, but I think ex-husband did it anyway...just didn't let them know he did!)
My grandmother was not only put into a sealed coffin, but the coffin was sealed in a vault before it was buried. The mortuary promised her husband that she would forever be preserved!
Honestly, I don't see the point! ...but it sure cost him a lot of money! But he had plenty of money, so I guess it was his way of honoring her to the fullest extent.

I have a term life insurance policy, so if I die too soon, it should be taken care of as well as any debts I leave behind. But I don't want to have a place where people will feel the need to mourn my death or whatever. I also do not want to be creepily kept on a mantle somewhere or on someone's closet. I'm fine with cremation and just throwing my ashes somewhere or burying them in a random hole in the ground.

On a different but similar getting older note, I'm trying to decide if I should actually try and cover my grey hairs or just continue on the I don't care route. And for clarification, I just have random grey/white hairs popping in where ever they feel like.
