O: In the debates. I saw that and then I saw it got locked. That's why I'm afraid of making threads since I feel others have already done it. If it's any consolation it was a good topic.

The thread they referred to was about 'youth in asia' which when said out loud it pronounced euthanasia... but gah, if I'm doing a quick search I'm not looking for that type of thing :(

Seriously, the person who wrote the thread thought it was people in Asia specifically... it's about Euthanasia but not the same as what I was writing about.
I think I'll just stay out of the debates forum from now on!

You could point it out to a mod. It kind of funny though. A little. I tend to stay out of the debate forum anyway because my opinions are usually fairly conservative and that makes people dislike me. T__T

I did point it out to a mod. I pointed out that the post was more than 6 months old and their retort was that the 6 month rule only applies in some forums... it's bullshit. grr!

if it only applies to certain forums you might want to inform certain mods to inform administrators to update certain rules that pertain to certain posts being 6 months of age..

I mean really, 6 months is half a year, if no one has posted it's fair game to start fresh.

I don't go into the debate forum very much either, mainly because the posters tend to act as if their opinion is the only valid one. rather than saying, I think this, what do you think, they say 'this is' or 'that is' <- that is not debate, for example the tattoos thread I got a little mean on, the poster acted as if she was all powerful and it just irks me *shrugs*

but yeah, mods might want to update the rules if they want to tell people they only pertain to certain forums.
