you know, leave it to MY friend to call just after I've left to walk the dog so that when I get back and see that I called her and call her back the conversation ends up twice as long because it.

and the main reason she called was that her kids were driving her crazy, hoping to get some sort of escape talking to me on the phone. nope. that just made the kids even louder because they didn't have her full attention. so the whole concept of the call backfired.

So, random question, but I'm curious: how you guys pick names for your dragons?

Hi everyone! How is it going! Oh, look, all my eggs grew up. Try for some new ones :D

@Cara: I usually come up with strange made-up names for mine, when the inspiration strikes :)
Sometimes I use names that are already in existence because I think they're nice-sounding. :P

Cara-- I use baby name sites... xD. I type in the meaning for the name I want and then browse the names until I find one I like.

Darkest: Congratulations on getting another female pink. ^__^

Fading and Yotsy: I've started giving all of my dragons double names... since I can never seem to get my first choice of name any more. I just try to get two fiction-y sounding names that sound alright together. XD To get started choosing I name, I usually look up the names of ancient gods, angels, demons or any other mythic beings and then I play around with the spellings.

Giving my dragons surnames helps with avoiding same-name-incidents :P

I really don't know how I'm going to choice names for my new ones and don't remember how I came up with the names for the ones I had. The baby name sites is a good idea though. Might have to give that a try.

Back when I got my stone dragon, I was almost giddy when it let me name him Grignak. =3

I try to name them Japanese names with meanings, but it seems people have the same idea. x.x;

I also use random words from anatomy class...
I'm planning on naming one of these hatchlings Hyaline *insert last name here*...
