Yeah I am really friendly towards people unless they annoy me then I turn colder towards them. Sometimes I also accidently insult people without even realising I do that, thats quite sad if it is to someone that I like, but if it is someone who I don't then it is really funny to see their face, unless of course they are to dim to realise that they have infact been insulted :P

It's different on the internet, when I have significantly more time to phrase things how I like and there aren't stupid subtleties like tone and gestures and body language that I have to worry about. e__e |
I seem to have a harder time not being rude to people on the internet because there is not tone or body language. Sometimes I think I'm too straight with my replies. And I tend to be sarcastic which doesn't come out well, depending how it's phrased, since there is no tone to back it up.

That's the reason why I use smiley faces so much. I want to make sure people know I'm being sarcastic when I am.
But people in general take things less seriously on the internet, and if someone gets offended I can laugh instead of feeling self conscious for the next ten years of my life. |
Yeah, there were a few times that if I would have thought of using a smiley it wouldn't have been taken the wrong way.

Thats weird how people think that. If I am bored or tired or something I'm not as social as I should be and they all act as if I am breaking the law or something, it is quite annoying.
