In my case, I started reading the books after I saw the second movie. I'm so glad I did, since I felt like the third movie did a poor job of building up the mystery in the third book and also didn't explain many important things (such as who the Padfoot, Wormtail, Moony, and Prongs were).

Plus, it came with the bonus of being able to go to the midnight book releases of the last two books. :)

I can't imagine not reading the books! : (

Fair I suppose....but the books bring soooo much more to the table.

@Ferra- with the exception of the last half of the seventh book, which is the best PART of the books. I loved the third book the best as a whole book. Which made the movie all that much more disappointing.

Midnight releases are AMAZING. I was at all but the first of the books and all the movies. Yes.....cora is a harry potter nerd.

I don't know how many of you are subscribed to this thread but I just thought that I would let you know I'm going to be making the new PM thread with this mule tonight. I don't know when I'll have it fully set up, but I'll need about 9-10 posts, and I'm still trying to decide what order I want the thread to display in. Once I've got my reserved posts done, I'll make a welcome post and everyone can come chat while I get everything set up. I'm planning on starting applications in the next week or two so please spread the word so that we can get as many people as possible to be aware of the contest.

I'm going to ask all staff who see this message to please postpone locking this thread until the new thread has been fully completed and I give the say so. Plus, I want to say my own little goodbye to the thread. It's by far exceeded anything I could have ever expected from it and I don't think a decent farewell is too much to ask for.

A PM-related hangout can coexist alongside the contest thread. This thread doesn't have to be locked at all if you don't want it to be.

I know. But CK told me a while back that Insomniac wanted all threads over 1000 pages to be archived because they caused strain to the server. And besides, I don't really see this thread being of much user. It's been in Nations for a while now and hasn't really seen any activity since I had it moved over from AC.

I do want to say my good buys. This thread was my online home for a very long time, a lot of memories in here.

But we can not hold onto memories(isn't that what they say?) So I'll say goodbye to the old and hello to the new ^.^

I find it hilarious that ears don't layer on TOP of hair, so a lot of hair chops off elf ears.

It's also somewhat sad that we don't have Drow skin

Hmm...I don't think there is a dark grey......the one CI does have black.....but no dark grey.

hmm Oh gosh.

Hair really should be in two layers. One with the base layer and the other with the bangs layer, with the ears in between. The way it is now, I have to switch between two extremes. DX
