Most of my categories are probably self-explanitory. >_>

I only use the Main Inventory for items I've just purchased. During events, I usually let it fill up with my purchases until I've made sure I've bought everything I want from the special event store and to keep track of how many extra sets of Event Item Rares I have.

"Dresses & Etc" includes any outfit piece that is full-body. Like the catsuits and the Glammy coats and the yukata.

I divided "hand-helds" from "weapons" because sometimes I'm specifically looking for weaponry of some type or another.

"Props|BG Items" includes floaties, backgrounds, and other inanimate objects that work as props. (The "Sleepy Melodies" harp is there.)

"Pets|Companions" has chickies, bunnies, phoenix, plushie snakes, etc.

"Misc. Access." has... whatevers. The corsages, the butterfly pins, the pocket handkerchiefs (I know technically they should go in the Waist Accessories folder - but I don't want them there), the wraps go there for now. I don't want to put them in "Multi-Item" for whatever reason. >_>

You should organize all those folders by color CK ; D

Suona 05-03-2009 07:20 PM

I don't think that I would make any good avatars if I had all my items in drawers.
I like being able to look at them all in one spot and just click them and choose matching colors.

I'd probably get too frustrated if I had to jump around drawers to make my avis

Seiki Nova 05-03-2009 07:27 PM

I jump around pages in my inventory all the time. Usually I do one or two items per page, and then switch so I can get another color/item on a different page and then flop around. Its like having drawers haha.

But drawers are evil. I can't handle them. I only have my CI and EI drawers so that those items aren't mixed in with my commons DX

Suona 05-03-2009 07:47 PM

Interesting new avi, Seiki. I like it.
Might I suggest something thats more white then the gray skirt you have, though?
It doesn't quite match.

Seiki Nova 05-03-2009 07:51 PM

All of the short white skirts are kind of gray DX

Suona 05-03-2009 07:57 PM

Thats true.
Hmm...Did you try the white belt thing from the order armor?

Seiki Nova 05-03-2009 07:58 PM

It didn't fit the theme in my opinion so I left it out. I use that item too much anyways xD

Suona 05-03-2009 08:02 PM

Hmm. Okay.
And the space skirt would probably be way too short.

You could always do the white space skirt and then the black cutie skirt
I think those would both go over the brown pants.
And then you wouldn't need the raven anklewings probably

Seiki Nova 05-03-2009 08:30 PM

Yeah, it is.

The cutie skirts are too short for what I wanted. I wanted to hide more of the shorts than they cover.

Suona 05-03-2009 08:41 PM

Thats very true.
I'm digging around in the shops, trying to find something white enough to work.

How about baggy white shorts? they're at the very bottom

I don't like having to switch pages to look and see what else I have for the item type I'm looking for... I have a pretty good visual memory, but when I know I'm looking for, say, a sword, I'd rather go straight to my Weapons folder and then look in my Multi-Items folder to double-check there's not a better sword for my outfit than go through 10+ pages of my inventory looking for all my swords mixed in with all my other items. XD

I don't have any sort of avatar "user/admin pick" wins to back up that I think I make pretty decent avatars, but I'm pretty happy with what I do. XD

But your mileage may vary from mine. ;3 Whatever works best for you; etc.

Suona 05-03-2009 09:38 PM

I'll probably end up having to do that when I get more items.
I'm still not really that old here, and I don't have all that many items. I just have a 4 page inventory, so I don't have to search too much to get to where I want to get.

CK 05-03-2009 09:41 PM

XD Yeah - if you've only got an inventory that small, it's more of a hassle to go through five different drawers to get what you want than four different pages. :3

Suona 05-03-2009 09:45 PM

Mhmm.
So once I get a substanical amount of items that make it annoying to jump around, then I will make drawers. xP

CK 05-03-2009 10:06 PM

You get a few free to start you off, so it'll be good to see if you even like them. XD As you can see, Seiki hates them and he has a bigger inventory than I do. :o It suits some and doesn't others. ::shrug:: :3

Seiki Nova 05-03-2009 10:08 PM

I have thirteen pages and I still wouldn't use drawers DX

I have the white baggy shorts. I tried a lot of different lower-body combos before I settled on this though. Nothing else really made me happy.

CK, lies! I'm still just waiting for a mass organizer DX Its so much easier to move more than one item at a time when organizing my inventory DX

Suona 05-03-2009 10:12 PM

I agree.
A mass organizer would make our life sooo much easier.

I think I might separate all EIs and CIs into their own drawers though.

Well, you can organize by color, but not within the drawers. You can only do it out in your main inventory. So then you've got to go through page after page. >< And it makes it harder to browse if you are looking for a new color to add.
With my way, I can say "well, I need another color, and something on the head" then I go look through my head-related folders for an item that fits the overall look, and has a color that doesn't clash.

That kind of think. I don't actually like super sort. My inventory is too large for me to go and be picky with the way I organize.

I have to be picky or I overlook things. xD As it is, since I can't do it by color within the drawers, I'll look over an item four times before noticing it. ><
I'd do it by color in the main, but like I said to cami, sometimes I need an item from a particular area, but don't have a set color in mind. I wouldn't have the patience to go through page after page after page. @[email protected]

Cami 05-04-2009 02:46 AM

Well, my drawers are mostly reorganized. I changed some categories around, added new ones, and deleted a couple I no longer needed after putting CIs and EIs in their own drawers (for example, backgrounds). I'm debating dividing a couple of my drawers that are more than one page further, though, and there are some 20 items I don't know where to put currently.

MurasakiCrown 05-04-2009 03:27 AM

*comes in to hug all the tees* .///.

Cami 05-04-2009 04:51 AM

Do you guys know a blue item I can use for my neck area that's not going to disturb my other items? I was looking for a shirt that would go under my other shirts (or at least the red shirt if it has short enough sleeves), but nothing seems to work.

Seiki Nova 05-04-2009 05:10 AM

The only thing that I can think of is the Deep Freeze Necklace, but that takes off the little clover thing, so that doesn't work.

Cami 05-04-2009 05:19 AM

I was debating trying that or the blue neckerchief when I have gold again tomorrow. Both take off the clover (or at least hide it), but I really feel like I need blue there.

Suona 05-04-2009 05:28 AM

Did you try having blue hair and adding a red item? The hat seems like a lot
