Hmmm...I didn't think of it that way, though if it where me, I would rather let myself die in that situation I think, but most people are afraid of death.

Well, when you get to that point though, Cora, it feels like dying to not have the drug. Even if you know you're killing yourself by taking it, it doesn't feel like you're dying.
Or, if you mean in reference to Iro's story? It may be worth it to try everything if there's any chance of survival. I do think it depends on how hard you want to fight for life in that situation, and what you have to fight for.. |
It all depends on what you think happens when you die, and how you feel about that.

Yes, I think I should take that as a compliment, as terrible as I look. xD I wanted a baggy look for the clothings to signify appetite loss, hence declining weight, so I found the problem of not being able to add much to the avatar. Even a belt looks out of place. *frowns* @Cora Lorington: It is understandable. Many people do usually choose to just die. :yes: The problem is the person in question is a man who still had schooling children, a wife, and a mother to take care off, and he's the bread winner of the family. That is one part where his motivation to survive is derived, another is his attitude to take things as positively as he could. |

I suppose the way I see it....I should have died years ago, and almost did. I am glad I am alive, but I had resolved myself to the fact that I was going to die and was at peace with it. I feel now that I'm on gifted time, I make the most of it, but I also know that if it comes a time where it is more painful to live then let myself die as I should, I would be at peace with it. |

I dunno if I fear death, but I don't feel like I'm at a point where I'm ready to die... I finally have direction in my life. It would feel like a bit of a slap in the face to die now that I've got an idea of what I want to do and wehre I want to go, even if I don't have an ending goal. |

Yep, yep. xD Though it's being killed by sickness at the moment, I am just thankful I can get to roll around and rest as opposed to fretting about missing classes or trudging sluggishly to classes. lol @Cora Lorington: As I said, I understand your reasoning well. My grandfather went through the latter situation, we were actually relieved he passed away, because that means he doesn't have to suffer any longer. :) @Ferra: I meant it as a rejection to food (also contributing to loss of appetite), hence split 'food', the popcorn.
