Blargh, I need to redo my spring goddess avi. I'm just not happy with it still :/

Ferra: Considering how long you've been around, I'm shocked you don't have all of the items. XD I didn't buy a single common until I had every EI and CI.

Well I wrote off the St. Patties and V-day 2007 items as unobtainable and moved on, but I got all the CIs I missed by the end of 2007 (or early 2008? *forgets*). After that I realized "whoops, maybe I can get the early EIs".

I'm pretty patient though and I've been fortunate enough to get what I have. Right now I'm only missing the green clover hairpin, V-day pendant, and V-day boa (which is my favorite of the EIs).

EDIT: I also joined Menewsha initially for art collecting, so my early thousands of gold back in the day went towards art. XD

I enjoy questing, so I really got into it. And I had a lot of luck too, I'm sure. I was actually concerned that I'd lose interest in Mene after I got all of my quest items.

I finished questing pretty much right before the games were added. So I'd sold or traded away most of my extras with the plan to get them back, and then all of a sudden everything skyrocketed. XD

I think that's my problem, I'm not much of an exchanger. XD I have quite a few valuable duplicates and extra EI sets from every event after Easter '07, but I've held on to them since I figure I might as well hold out as long as I can in case the last item I need requires me to cash everything in.

So far I've never found an opportunity (save the pendant offer that was declined) to trade part of my stash for a big ticket item.

I only got 20+ sets because I didn't spend any on bowls. XP Granted, I did spend 20k+ as well on commons, but I figured that it's the New Year, so my questing can wait a little. ^^;;

I still have some ways to go though. :x </3 I dunno if I plan on owning all the CI's and EI's one day, but I sure want to own a few of them. XP In my short time here I'm very much content with what I have so far though. :3 Especially since I just need big ticket items now (and some smaller CI's I don't really like anyway xDD).

I think one day I'll be able to get most of the event sets.

I've got a fair amount of this year's CIs already, which I'm pretty happy with.

I didn't think I'd be able to accomplish so much so quickly, but there are a lot of generous people willing to help out here ^_^

Yup, I was in Debates and Life Issues first. I tried Nations too, but none of the hangouts stuck with me for a while.

That's prolly coz the the first thing I did when I joined was hang around in the avatar forums, and I joined Project Mene not too long after either xD
