Hime and Slow: I'm nearly positive that the light spells came from the raffle. Everyone I know who entered the raffle got one.
XD I got mine probably about 24 hours after complaining about selling my other one. I still probably sold for too low, but I think I won out.
According to Site Feedback, they're trying to give the SNGs away in manners other than just talking to them, so like the raffle or last event's site feedback thread.
Seiki: XD People are just plain scared of clowns. People keep telling me how creepy I look even though I'm not trying to look creepy.

I saw that some people got cookies from last event's feedback, but I never managed to find the time to fill that one out... I did the feedback for this event today though... not that I'm expecting an SNG for it xD

Yeah, I kinda wondering where I'm going here :D Just trying out stuffz :D
I really really love this hairpin, it is majestic... my favorite ei up to date, I'll even say. Which doesn't mean I don't want the V-day '07s anymore though :)
Ugh, I wish I bought more of the event commons... as I always say after the event is done >.<
I guess all of the NPC's will have their own items eventually, can take quite a while though.
I wonder if there will be an event with St-Patty's... (moar items? :drool:)

Yup. Everyone that participated in Cain's raffle got a light spell.
I have two now. O_o;;
Yeah, I never got around to talking in the site feedback last event either. I couldn't find it. ><;; And then when I did I was too lazy to answer everything. What a shame, though, since I dont have that cookie. ><;;

I didn't fill out last event's feedback because I was barely on for the event. XD I usually make an effort to do that, too.
Nah, I doubt there will be something for filling it out this time. If they did that, then people would expect something every time they filled the feedback form. Having it be more random will keep people on their toes and make it more of a surprise.
Now, onto Project Mene.
CONGRATULATIONS, SLOW. Yours was definitely my favorite one this round.
Note to Ferra: Do you mind if I ask what you mean when you say that I lacked variety and didn't leave my comfort zone? I know that I have my own personal style (and I'm not going to change that for a contest), but I feel like all of my outfits for this season look significantly different. Different colors, different item combinations, different shapes. I even made an effort not to reuse items.

@Cami: I think you did well, but the attitude I interpreted from you throughout the competition was "well if I like it, who cares what the judges think". Which again is fine, but I think you could have pushed yourself farther sometimes instead of falling back on your usual patterns. I saw some outfits that went beyond their usual style from pretty much everyone except you. I didn't mark you down for that, but it was a bit disappointing to never see an outfit that really surprised or wowed me.

Ferra: I think that's a good attitude to have. XD Why should I push myself to make outfits I don't like, just because the judges like them? That doesn't mean that I didn't push myself to do things I hadn't done before; it just meant I didn't change my style to please others.

@Cami: True, but in any competition, it pays to consider your audience. It's great to have a strong sense of yourself and your style, but as a judge I lost interest in leaving comments on your entries since there wasn't a point. You didn't seem to care unless it praised your outfits and any criticism was met with "oh well, it's my style".
Again, I think you did very well this competition and I liked a lot of your entries, but I didn't see the growth/development like I saw in some other contestants. :)

Really? Second-ish place?! o.o Wow! That's awesome! =D
Though, I wish there was a gallery kind of thing to show all avatars, contestants, and themes for past cycles and rounds. X3; Cause I'd love to know what was done each round, and it'd be great for newbies who are curious about PM to look into the past and all. :3

Ferra: I'm sorry you felt that way. I certainly care about your opinion, and I do listen to criticism. I regularly reconsider things I do because of what someone else has said. But I've done project Mene before. The first time, I really tried hard to please the judges, and it worked out well. I grew as an avie creator, I expanded my horizons, and I made it to the final round. But I also felt like I lost myself a bit. I think I even said in my application for this round that I wanted to see how far I could go while staying entirely true to my style.
After all, this is based off of Project Runway. In that show, the judges give suggestions and criticisms, and the contestants change little things to please them, but throughout the show they're very firm that the contestants need to have their own voice that shines through, something in their designs that expresses who they are as a designer.

@Cami: I see. :) Well I wouldn't have wanted you to follow every whim of criticism either since of course everyone has conflicting opinions, but some middle-ground would have been nice. I understand the process of Project Runway (I've watched them all, lol) so I know what you mean, but the key to winning there always seemed to be finding a balance between showing your point of view AND taking into consideration what the judges/fashion world wanted to see.
I'm not trying to knock your style, I'm just saying that had you allowed for a bit more variation in your style this competition, it might have created better results. And hey, maybe not? XD But it's something I was interested in seeing.
