I am totally lost in this thread, lol. Five pages and I can't find my last post.

Congrats, slow. I saw your entry and thought, "That had better be the winner." Of course, I'm quite partial to the Cheshire cat to start, but I think you did a great job with portraying it. XD" Honestly, I wish someone had done the Mad Hatter. It would have made my day. =P

I worked on a Mad Hatter outfit, but didn't end up going with it.

Why not? Did it not turn out so well? I did like your dark Queen of Hearts though. =)

I don't know if Cami ever finished that outfit or not. I don't remember seeing a complete version of it.

I'm stuck on how to finish my current avatar.. but only since I've hunted through accessory and clothing stores and haven't found the right shade, size, and etc. of items that I could use. -_-; I hate it when the ideal items I want isn't an actual item. D:

I wasn't lurking in this thread at the time, so I wouldn't know.

Nice look, Seiki. I think it would be nicer with more green in the top right? =3

If it weren't for the tree it wouldn't look unbalanced haha. The green is just supposed to be an accent color.

*laughs* Indeed. I did like the green though. I feel like not having it would have been a little bland. Just the tree was too much of it all in one spot. XD"

This blue and orange one is cute though. =)

Sometimes I wonder if anyone would ever wear their avatar outfits in real life, complete with the five tops, four bottoms, stockings, legwarmers, socks and sometimes several pairs of footwear. XDD"

I wouldn't
But I have a friend that wears multiple layers
She'll wear a t-shirt, a tanktop, a vest, and a jacket. Shorts, stockings, long socks, regular socks, sometimes leg warmers, and flats.

...lol. I layer, but not that much. Especially not stockings, legwarmers, long socks and short socks together. =O

I said sometimes leg warmers. ;P She doesn't wear them all the time, but i've seen her with that many layers severals times before. She'll always wear about 2 or 3 tops, though. And she tends to always have a few layers on her legs.

Its just how she is. lol

I typically wear a minimum of two tops, even though I live in Arizona haha.

There's no way that I would wear my Mene outfits though. For starters, I'm not female xD

My outfits depend heavily on the weather.
My body likes to screw with me, and my temperature fluctuates rapidly. I'm slim with not much excess body fat except in areas it should be, and I have a bit of muscle, but not enough to keep myself warm. So I get cold extremely easy. But I also suddenly overheat rapidly at times. So I have to try to dress in a way that I can take off layers or put them on when my temperature jumps. So i'll usually wear two layers of shirts, sometimes a vest, and a sweater. And some days I just wear a t-shirt, and maybe a vest, and my sweater. And I always have jeans on for cold or mild days. And I'll either wear boots with my jeans tucked in, or just tennis shoes. I seriously hate my legs because they dont look very shapely and I have thick ankles, so I prefer not to wear stuff that draws attention to them. @[email protected];; But for hot weather, i'll usually just wear tank tops (sometimes two layered tanks depending on how low one is) and capris. I have like this hatred for most shorts, so i'll only wear as short as mid-thigh. Any less then that and I feel so much like a hoochie that I couldn't even consider leaving my house.

@Suona: That sounds interesting. I think I'd die of heat stroke as soon as I stepped indoors if I did that though. XD"

@Seiki Nova: Well, I've seen some very attractive cross-dressers, so for all you know... =P Just kidding. What about in terms of style? Do you accessorize a lot in real life too? Wear four colours or more in an outfit?

lol It does get pretty hard. Because my classes are all in the morning, and its still rather winterish here, so its freezing in the mornins. It was 39 F the other morning, and then got like 60s to 70 in the afternoon. So i'll wear warm clothes so that I dont freeze in the morning, but as soon as I get into the cafeteria then I get way too warm after awhile and take off my sweater and loosen my scarf (oh yeah, forgot to mention that I like always have a scarf on during winter or cold days), and then I have to put all layers back on before I go outside. Then get into a classroom and it could be warm enough to take my sweater off. Or some of my classes are so cold that I have to keep my sweater on and am still cold, and then you go back outside in the afternoon and the sun might be out and warn enough that you have to take layers back off. @[email protected];; Its so confusing and drives me nuts sometimes.

<--Generally has at least 3 shirts on at a time, 1 of which you typically cant see, and then a jacket or hoody. Sometimes I will wear a vest and a jacket.
That is about the only real layering you get with me.
Sometimes I layer with skirts or a dress, but that is about it.
I have a few avatars on here that my might dress up in, but not many. xD

Btw, seiki...what the hell is on your avatars upper torso. i cannot make out that bluish shirt...I THINK it is the aurora.
wait. o.o;; is your upper torso glitched?
<---confused.

OMG! In one of the buildings on campus the damn professor has it on 80 degrees. Our professor broke the box that locked the thermostat in order to keep us from enduring that heat. xD

And the last class I was stuck in the heat like that i had to walk out of class. I have and will always prefer the cold. x.x
It is easier to warm up than to cool down in my opinion.
Plus cool air is refreshing to me. xD

@Suona: That sounds a lot like where I am. XD"

@Winterwolfgoddess: Somehow, it really bothers me to walk outside in a hoodie and sweatpants or a T-shirt and jeans unless I have a good reason for wearing them (like if the T-shirt is a kind of uniform, for instance). I can't understand how people sometimes walk around in their pyjamas. I layer partially for warmth, but mostly for aesthetic reasons. I usually prefer to have a really warm coat outside and an outfit of choice inside that doesn't have to suit the weather. XD"
And I agree. You can always wear more layers if it's too cold, but you can't walk around naked if it's too warm, so the cold is preferable.
