I agree. It is a nice avatar -- totally! :D

But it doesn't fit with the renaissance theme at all, and like I said, if I were judging, I'd mark it down a good deal. The hard part of this challenge is making an interesting avatar, even being limited to the dark themes/colors of the Renaissance.

I just think this round is killing me. I dont seem to be able to manage to kick start my brain enough into being very creative.

And thats exactly it, Sizz. Its such a dark era, and the art is so bleh to me. I have gone through a lot of them and tried to find things that work, though. I had done an Eve avi, but I have a feeling that it'll be considered too simple. And I did an evil Eve avi, which got pointed out that it was a lot like Lilith, so i'm still trying to search down a good painting of her that would work that is in the right timeframe. And I did another from a painting, but its also rather plain.

What happened to that one you were doing before Su? With the half red and green dress thing?

@Suona: Have you tried using the rainbow sash from the stpaddy event? It seems to me that in the painting, the round thing behind the figure is more...circley and rainbowy, than peacock-y. :]

I may have to buy a red and gold head thing (can't think of the right name right now), though, to match on the head.

And I did the peacock since it was a nice circle right behind. I was just ignoring the designs. Haha.

But neither really feel like the theme of the woman in the portrait. Maybe try a more "proper" look? I think that overskirt you had on at one point looked a bit good.
