Yep, it is making fun of Twilight and others.
I think there was also Beverly Hills Chihuahuas in it.

MurasakiCrown 08-04-2010 03:45 AM

Sometimes I don't get why people make certain movies.

Cami 08-04-2010 03:52 AM

/welcomes Facade with cookies/

Why are there no good female jackets?

dragoness129 08-04-2010 04:18 AM

@ Platinum - Just for laughs.

@ Cami - I don't know.

Suona 08-04-2010 04:26 AM

Yeah, I saw a poster for that at the movies
It has mocking characters of Twilight on it

Cami 08-04-2010 04:33 AM

Do you guys like my pretend jacket?

Facade 08-04-2010 04:34 AM

OMG, Cora, are you making your entry for this round?
...Woops. That totally didn't even cross my mind. :ninja:
That explains the old-world feel to your ensemble. :P

-throws the cookies back at Cami- EW, THEY'RE YUCKY! :gonk:
Oh, and your pretend jacket makes you look... how do I put this nicely... BULGY. :stare:

...That Twilight spoof movie sounds actually entertaining! Much more fun-sounding than that stupid Epic Movie/Date Movie/etc. line... Those movies SUCKED. I'd actually watch a vampire movie spoof. :D

dragoness129 08-04-2010 04:41 AM

@ Cami - I like it! ^_^

Suona 08-04-2010 04:47 AM

Haha. Looks interesting, Cami
I'd say its pretty clever

Cami 08-04-2010 04:49 AM

Thanks, some of you guys. ^-^

Suona 08-04-2010 04:52 AM

I like the use of the belt at the bottom. Nice.

Cami 08-04-2010 04:57 AM

^-^

I feel like I'm using an awfully lot of items to make an awfully simple look. XD

dragoness129 08-04-2010 05:04 AM

@ Cami - Well it is neat that they are all working together nicely. ^_^

Suona 08-04-2010 05:04 AM

Its 6 items, right? For the torso.

Facade 08-04-2010 05:05 AM

I was just being my normal cruel self, Cami. In all honesty, it's fabulous.
-eats it-

Cami 08-04-2010 05:11 AM

Um... The upper body is the dress, belt, harness, blouse, neck thing, shoulder straps, and mechanic's tank. Then bottom half of dress and additional skirt for legs.

Suona 08-04-2010 05:14 AM

Ah, didn't see a mechanic's shirt. So, thats 7, then.

dragoness129 08-04-2010 05:21 AM

I should google some Nazi images.

Facade 08-04-2010 05:29 AM

I should google a purple people eater named Waffle. :ninja:

dragoness129 08-04-2010 05:30 AM

@ Facade - O.O oooh kayyy.

Cami 08-04-2010 05:51 AM

Su: Yep. ^-^

I'm actually writing a real description for this one. A long one at that. <<,, What do you think?

Quote:

"Today I mourn for two things: for the fate of those millions of people who were murdered by the National Socialists. And for the girl Traudl Humps who lacked the self-confidence and good sense to speak out against them at the right moment."---Traudl Junge (maiden name Humps)

Traudl Junge wanted nothing more in life than to be a dancer, but after the war broke out it became difficult to pursue her chosen career so she took what she hoped was a temporary job as a secretary. She was soon promoted and became Hitler's youngest personal secretary. Though she heard rumors of what was happening, she wasn't interested in politics nor the war and paid no attention.

Traudl represents what really allowed the atrocities of the Holocaust to happen--not the few evil individuals who perpetuated the crimes, but the millions of people who chose willful ignorance and social acceptance over standing up against injustice.

"...seeing social acceptance as an excuse not to have to think... being content to do the wrong thing because everyone else is doing it too, because if everyone is guilty then no-one is guilty."---The Line (which tells Traudl's story better than I can)

Suona 08-04-2010 05:52 AM

Fricken Nazis. >_>;;
Just do a Hitler avi. lol

And interesting story?
I couldn't pay attention. @[email protected];; I'm terrible at reading stuff when I dont feel like it. Sorry. :x

Cami 08-04-2010 05:58 AM

XD

I'm sorry, I just find that funny in context, since the story is basically about it being easier to not pay attention.

Suona 08-04-2010 06:01 AM

lol Well there ya go

Cami 08-04-2010 06:08 AM

Regardless, it's a true (and fascinating) story about Hitler's secretary. I've been watching videos about her all night.
