I'm kind of getting tired of all the avatar above you threads.

I just slept a solid thirteen hours, and it was magical : )

Yeah, all those threads are kind of killing me. I would love to add in a few subforums for different things like that. A ratings/advice subforum for everyone to house their rating threads, an AC word games sub for all the AAY threads, and leave the main forum for more legit threads like ongoing contests and discussions such as the hair color threads and the cosplay stuff.

I have a few things I need to get done around the house before it gets too late and then I'll put up scores, hopefully within the next hour or so.

It would be nice to break things up a bit more, but things don't really move quickly enough to warrant it at this point.

But since we're trying to bring in and keep new members, and not scare them away, we've been a bit more lax about the rules/infractions as of late. So you're going to start seeing more new threads that previously would have been locked stay open. :yes: It's just a way to get more people interested and involved, and I think that's a good thing, even if the forum is a bit messy. :yes:

I agree that that's a good thing. I always thought the rules were too strict when I was on staff.

It's more that I feel like people have no imagination. Instead of creating something new, they're all repeating the same basic idea with a slightly different twist.

To some degree, though, I feel like that's taken care of by natural selection. The threads people aren't interested fade away, the good threads stay strong.

I guess as long as they aren't tooo bad thats alright, I've been joining in a few here or there

I feel a little defeated right now. Just went to update the scores and tried to save changes, and I get a page load error so now I have to do it again. And I don't write my critiques until I do the scores for personal reasons. So you guys won't be getting scores from me this week because quite frankly I don't feel like writing them again after losing them. You'll receive scores based out of 30 this week instead of 40.

In Firefox, sometimes it'll save my text if I hit "back," but it's a hit and miss :(

That's why the clipboard is my friend. If I type up a super long post, I'll copy the whole thing right before I submit it, just in case.

I just wish I remembered to do it every time... it really bites me when I forget :gonk:

Couldn't you add in your scores if not your critiques?

I like to wait to write my scores because if I do it early, I tend to start nit-picking things and I would rather not end up making myself hate everything and give you all 2s and 3s for scores because I have issues haha.
