I think David Tennant is my favorite doctor right now, but I've liked all of them. I was really concerned when I started the fifth season that I was going to be unhappy because there was a new doctor, but I liked him almost immediately. The stuff with the food was hilarious.

The always changing cast does get to be something. I missed Rose forever. I think I'm over her now that she has a proper ending and I really like River Song.

I really liked the dynamic of Eccleston and Rose, but I liked her and Tennant as a couple better (obviously). Their ending made me so saddd. T_T I was also really afraid I wouldn't like the new doctor and I was tempted to just not watch the show, but iTunes gave me a free preview and I loved him instantly. I really like the new companion, too. She's gorg. <3

She is good looking. Immediately had a distinct personality too. Only companion I haven't really liked was Martha, and that was because I felt like there was nothing that made her stand out. She could have been anyone.

Yeah, that's true. She was very forgettable. xD I think my favorite companion was Romana (second incarnation, specifically) from the old series. She was so smarmy! :drool:

I haven't seen any of the old episodes. Only clips, and the clips didn't look particularly good. <<,, Is it worth giving a chance?

I think it is, but I have weird taste. :B I've only seen a few episodes with Tom Baker. The effects are really cheesy, but the characters are still likable and the dialogue is well-written, but it has a much different feel than the new series.

I'll at least check it out. See what I think.

It's worth mentioning that I don't particularly like daleks. It sounds like they have a pretty primary role in the old stuff.

Haha, really? I love daleks. xD But I didn't see any in the episodes I watched... just stuff like worm aliens made of condoms. >_>

I've never liked it. I preferred Torchwood, and the Adventures of Sarah Jane xD

I may just dislike them because they're always the very last of their kind, and yet they somehow keep coming back. I suspect that the authors of the show don't understand the meaning of "last of their kind."

The Sarah Jane show was made for CBBC... So it's essentially aimed at kids up to about 14?
I used to watch it when I was babysitting, was thankful for something other than Lazy Town tbh xD

But as a whole, Dr Who is something I don't get excited by.
I liked Tennant, he was a good actor and made the Doctor a good character... but meh.

I had people trying to get me to watch Dr. Who for about two years before I finally watched it, but I really love it. The doctor character is awesome. Just the randomness in how he acts.
