I know I'm allowed to buy items from the PM stock if I do it right. CK and I had a conversation about that the other day. Its very specific and you probably ought to let staff know about it beforehand. There needs to be notes in the trade detailing what's happening and the like. Lots of stuff.

Cherry brought up a good point that the cookie is bound to drop rapidly in price due to the flood of them from the event.

I think I will just sell the thing and earn more gold and buy the bloom with gold....making sure to really overpay for it. I will also PM an admin at the time of the exchange to let them know what I plan to do.
