What happened, Nenna?

I had the runs and was puking all night long and became dehydrated so I made hubby take me to the ER. Turns out it was just some stomach flu that hubby had a couple of weeks ago that didn't even phase him and it just threw me down. So not only do I have to pay for the ER visit I'm going to miss out on today's pay and probably tomorrow.

Did they give you an IV?
That should help.

They did put in an IV and put in two bags of liquids and electrolytes. But the fun thing is I have such sensitive skin that I can feel the needle (even if it wasn't a needle) the whole time.

That is too bad, but hopefully you feel a bit better now.

I do feel better now, they gave me something for the nausea so I can actually keep liquids down.

Do not stress yourself too much though.

Rest and take it easy.

I lay down after that post, so yeah. I'm trying to take it easy, lots of fluids and laying down when I don't feel well.

Oh wow, the other thread is moving very fast.

I think I'm not quite getting enough fluids, I have a headache. But I have to sip them very carefully and it's hard to get a lot when taking small sips.

aw, its too bad you can't osmosisly absorb it through your fingers.

If that worked I'd go take another nice, long, hot bath. I used to hate them because they were boring but they're very soothing.

I no longer take baths.
I have a bit of trouble getting in and out of the tub.

I much prefer showers.

yeah. I haven't had a bath in a long time. we just have a shower since the tub doesn't have anything to block the drain

We have that exact same problem! But we're red necks about it, just rolling up a washcloth and shoving it in the drain. XD

oh my! sounds like something we'd do. but they tub needs cleaned first.

Sounds like a good idea. We used to get a small cup and as the water was draining a little would put it over the drain and it would sucktion the cup in place. . . .as long as we didn't hit it with our feet. Btu then we found a variety pack of plugs at walmart and one of the sizes fits over our drain.

wow, it seems like everyone has a broken drain plug... o___O

Ours never had a plug with it. And that little lever thing that is supposed to plug it down in the pipe itself, I think is just for decoration.
