I don't know, but Wednesday, Thursday and Friday we've gotten calls from school (automated, of course) that your child missed one or more periods today. I haven't skipped in my life. I am going to raise Hell if I have to take my exams because of a stupid clerical error though. My school has the worst administration EVER. I'm really tired of high school right now.

Ah. That explains. Well I hope it's nothing serious.
And besides, can't your teachers verify you were presence?

They can, but there's paperwork and crap. They just got a new attendance system. Maybe that's the problem...

Ah, I bet my high school could beat yours. It took me almost a year to get my diploma... after I graduated. Every time I went in to get it they asked if I did in fact graduate. -_-;
Also I almost didn't graduate because we need a year of business but every time I went to change my schedule, they were all on lunch... From 9 to 2...
I'm pretty sure they haven't sent my transcripts to the college I'm in now. xD

Jersey! xD
Sadly our High school actually is one of the best in the state. XD
Program wise at least. Admission wise... they need to fire some people.

I'm actually going to go now as well.
The sun's high enough that I can paint without turning on my over head light (which I block when I bend over the canvas).
I'll be back in a few hours!

Ohay Gramma. ^^
You're very much welcome.
I had to leave at that time though and I've been watching more TV than doing stuff on here today xD

Some days it's more difficult to be online.

Today may be one of those days for me. It's a beautiful day outside. The sun is shining, it's warm out, and there's a gentle breeze.

We've taken the RV out of its winter storage, and my husband is working on it to get it ready for our normal spring "shake out" cruise. We'll be going to the beach next week at Corpus Christi.

Sorry I haven't said much more lately - been trying to help with the staff appreciation event, taking care of kids, etc.

GrannyJ, I'm 3 years older than my sister and don't remember my parents trying to even explain who she was or anything like that for a while. I knew I could play with her when she was bigger, that's about all. If your stepson and his wife have explained that the baby is coming and will stay (some kids think that the baby is just visiting or ask to have it returned to the hospital), she should adjust to the change. A friend of mine has a very bossy child - I'm trying to be kind - and, other than demanding attention and throwing a few tantrums during the first couple of months, she seems to have adjusted well. The key is to balance time between both kids - and to be sure to remind the older child that they will have their needs met and have their own one-on-one time with mom and dad. She should be ok.

Hello Elmira and Clarissa!

I'm doing just fine today.

Thank you for your comments Elmira. I know that my stepson and his wife intellectually know how to handle the situation, but that won't necessarily translate into reality when exhaustion hits. Having a new baby and a two year old will cause them many sleepless hours I'm sure.

Today is gorgeous outside!

I can't decide what i want to do outside first =3

Probably go for a run. After I digest my lunch.
I might make some jewelry, outside. Since I have a table outside and an outlet for my glue gun!
Maybe shoot some hoops.
I can't decide.

I should take my laptop outside since it's so nice.

It must be getting to be spring everywhere now.
