I know what you mean with jeans that don't fit right. It seems to be a rule that they're all too loose in the waist. However, I do have this pair of jeans that I really like but they're super loose...same problem as Ely, they make my butt look baggy.

And I fear that I may have to get a new belt. it's starting to come apart, finally...after four years and who knows how many holes punched in it.

ElysiumFate 04-25-2011 03:19 AM

I want to buy some of those Levi Curve I.D. jeans...but they're so expensive.

Just one pair, man. Just one pair...so that my butt stops looking all granny like when I actually like my butt and it's the friggin' jeans. >.>

TaiyoTsuki 04-25-2011 03:41 AM

You'll gt them eventually Ely, don't worry.

GAH!!! I'm hyper and I don't know why...maybe it's just the crazy weather messing with me. Third thunderstorm in three freaking days!

ElysiumFate 04-25-2011 04:15 AM

I would take your weather!!! It's just been gray here for the last couple of weeks, and every time I come home I have to cover my car in fluffy blankets and a car cover because it looks like hail, but it never does anything. At least do something, ne?

I'm kinda jittery right now. I want to do stuff, but I don't want to do stuff, too.

TerrenaAnimula 04-25-2011 04:31 AM

My favorite jeans came from Fashion Bug but they moved those to the My Right Fit or whatever it is called AND made them for juniors only so they made them uber small and tight so I can no longer get them. :/

I also prefer the flared jeans but you can't find those anymore so I am stuck with boot cut. But now those are getting hard to find because skinny and straight legged jeans are in. -_-

ElysiumFate 04-25-2011 04:57 AM

Awh. I love skinny jeans and they're, in fact, the only jeans I wear. I've been wearing them since long before the skinny jean fad started, though, so it's kinda my trademark.

I've only found two pairs of jeans that I ever really loved. They're old, and impossible to find, now, though. So I just have to stick with mediocre jeans.

TerrenaAnimula 04-25-2011 04:59 AM

I can't stand skinny jeans! I cannot stand wearing something that is literally a second layer of skin and that's what skinny jeans are to me. The only exception to this are stuff like socks, hosiery, things along those lines.

ElysiumFate 04-25-2011 05:09 AM

It's weird...because I couldn't stand my legs until I put on a pair of skinny jeans that showed them off instead of hid them. *shrugs*

I'm a real girly girl, so I love hosiery and cute thigh highs and stuff. Can't wear thigh highs, unfortunately, due to stretch marks, but that doesn't stop me from having a fetish, haha.

TerrenaAnimula 04-25-2011 05:12 AM

I prefer my jeans. And I love thigh highs! Except for when they roll down. :/ Also, I don't like my thighs rubbing together, mainly when it is hot though...so I just stick to my jeans. :D

ElysiumFate 04-25-2011 05:15 AM

Ach. Yeah. when it's humid outside I hate wearing things that let my things rub together. Chafing is a wonderful phenomena also accursed to women. Lol.

It is my opinion that thigh highs are relatively slutty....okay...extremely slutty...thus I don't wear them out in public so people can see that they're thigh highs. I mean, the skirts you have to wear to show somebody that they're thing highs...and then it's so obvious that you're showing off, lol.

Still love em. Just not to show off.

TerrenaAnimula 04-25-2011 05:22 AM

My skirts aren't short enough to show they are thigh highs. XD Although the one you can probably tell...but only when I am sitting...I don't remember since it has been a while since I've worn the skirt and that skirt hits me just below my knees. And it is my favorite skirt. :D

I can admit they can be slutty, but not everyone wears them in a slutty way. Also I think they are easier to go to the bathroom in than wearing tights or leggings. Because you have to deal with that AND the skirt AND panties...that's just too much. XD

Another reason for...JEANS! :D Although...sometimes dealing with the belt sucks.

TaiyoTsuki 04-25-2011 11:51 PM

Well, I'm back on. Yet another tornado watch/warning. yay. Fun times.

TerrenaAnimula 04-25-2011 11:57 PM

Oh wow...

I'm actually kinda glad I live in a place where we really don't get them...we will get them occasionally but tornadoes are still pretty much rare around here.

ElysiumFate 04-26-2011 04:50 AM

We just get the hail from other people's tornadoes. :XD I technically live in Tornado Alley...but I live in a hole that never gets any of those tornadoes. Just the people above and below us, lol.

TerrenaAnimula 04-29-2011 06:08 PM

Wow

We actually were in a tornado warning the other night and it went into a watch. Along with that we were also in a sever thunder storm watch and a flood watch...and hail that could be as large as quarters (but I don't know if we got that). As far as I know, no tornadoes touched down here. But one touched down near my uncle's place. When we talked to him after they got the power back up there, the only thing he knew of was that a tree took out his truck he uses to carry wood. He hadn't checked the rest of his land (I don't know how many acres he has, just that he does have a lot of land).

ElysiumFate 04-29-2011 10:34 PM

We get put into tornado warnings several times every summer but they just pass over us. I've had family almost killed by tornadoes who live just a little north of us.

TaiyoTsuki 04-30-2011 03:41 AM

Yikes!

One time when I was a little kid a couple tornados passed over my hometown. Mom sent me and dad down into the basement with the radio while she stood on the front porch and watched them go over.

ElysiumFate 04-30-2011 04:25 AM

Haha. Your mom sounds like a BAMF.

Yeah. My cousin was at her volunteer job and the tornado destroyed every part of the building she was in except for where all of the employees bunkered down.

We never have to freak out about it much in my town...there's some sort of weather void here. If there's a warning we just run out and put blankets over the cars and tie them down with tarps so that hail doesn't ruin them. I've only ever been really worried about it once, and I took our cats and locked them in a safe room so they wouldn't get hurt if something bad did happen to go wrong.

TaiyoTsuki 05-01-2011 02:09 AM

The roof of the new police station in my college town got torn off by some of the high winds. Yikes! And one of my classmates had a problem with an order of cheesesticks from Papa John's during the storm. It took him about twenty minutes to place the order because their power got blown out, and they said that they were going to have his order out shortly. He gave them a bit of leniecy because, hey, they just got their power back on and the weather was shit. So, almost an hour or two later his order STILL hadn't come, and the storm had long since died down. Finally he just got fed up with it and went to the campus snack-shop nearby and got a mini-pizza there. And the cheesesticks still hadn't come when he got back to his dorm.

 Those must've been some pissed kitties when you got them out of the room.

ElysiumFate 05-01-2011 04:12 AM

Bahaha! His kingdom for a box of cheesesticks, lol.

Well, the one cat was freaked, but that's because she's the most timid creature you've ever seen in your entire life anyway. The other one was like: "what? Infidel. Was it truly necessary for you to wake me from my slumber to open the door?"

TaiyoTsuki 05-01-2011 06:21 AM

I probably would have taken my pet to the basement with me, if we ever had any pets.

FeyonaSaibre 05-01-2011 11:53 AM

This is why I'm happy my state is so advanced with their tornado alarms. We generally know LONG before it hits and can either be in a safe area or far away by the time it hits. I live in Oklahoma which is actually part of "tornado alley". People seem really frightened of it, but I never was. Probably 'cause it was something I grew up around.

TerrenaAnimula 05-02-2011 01:34 AM

Growing up in a place like that probably can teach one not to be afraid of it. Especially if you've been around it all your life.

ElysiumFate 05-02-2011 02:36 AM

See. We have a lot of tornadoes in my state, but positively NO advance warning system, so it's bubkis, and everyone is afraid of torandoes if they com around (and they always come around out of the blue).

TerrenaAnimula 05-02-2011 02:41 AM

Yeah...tornadoes are supposed to come out of the blue...or so we learn in school. :/
