I don't know what that is either.

Mehimaru 02-22-2013 09:47 PM

Oh, BSoD is Blue Screen of Death. It is when a computer screen goes blue and will tell you there was some problem and it is rebooting. Sometimes it tells you what the problem is, sometimes not. And sometimes is said something completely pointless like "System Service Exception" but does not tell you what that means or what files are or affected or anything. Then it reboots, lets you open your browser and be online for like five minutes and then BSoD again. And it keeps freaking repeating every freaking five minutes. It is so not cool.

TerrenaAnimula 02-22-2013 09:48 PM

OH! Yeah...I hate blue screens of death...so glad I haven't had on in a VERY long time. :D

Kirin Rosenbaum 02-22-2013 09:49 PM

I get them occasionally though not very often thank goodness.

TerrenaAnimula 02-22-2013 09:56 PM

I think my computer is still new enough to not get them...although my computer is probably like four years old now I think. XD

Kirin Rosenbaum 02-22-2013 09:58 PM

I want an ultra book.

TerrenaAnimula 02-22-2013 10:01 PM

I don't feel like looking that up to see exactly what it is...but I have heard of it.
I want a mac...but I can't afford one and I would have to rebuy my adobe stuff.

Kirin Rosenbaum 02-22-2013 10:05 PM

I don't like Macs.

TerrenaAnimula 02-22-2013 10:06 PM

I do. But I don't know much about them. I use them at school for my art classes.

Mehimaru 02-22-2013 10:15 PM

Well, last night my computer started BSoDing about every five minutes. Thankfully, when Clock got on and started posting, it stopped and hasn't done it since. Clock didn't do anything. He just got on and now my computer is fine. Strange coincidence.

Kirin Rosenbaum 02-22-2013 10:15 PM

I am a PC girl.

---------- Post added 02-22-2013 at 05:16 PM ----------

Clock is magic.

TerrenaAnimula 02-22-2013 10:17 PM

lol. At least it works now! :D

Mehimaru 02-22-2013 10:22 PM

I am a PC girl as well.....I think....

Yes, Terre!! I am so glad it works now.

GrannyJ 02-22-2013 10:24 PM

Oh!
Of course. I know what the BSO is.
I was just not thinking clearly!

We do not have any Apple products in our home.
However, my husband's first computer was an Apple 2.
One of the first computers they came out with.

Mehimaru 02-22-2013 10:27 PM

I don't think anyone in my family has any Apple products. Unless you count my boyfriend and his family. They all have iphones. Are those Apple products?? I think my dad has one too, but I don't really know.

TerrenaAnimula 02-22-2013 10:28 PM

I have ipods...I want an iPhone.

Mehimaru 02-23-2013 12:30 AM

I do not want an iphone. I am used to android and I want to keep an android but I need a new phone as mine is a dead paper weight. It won't even come on. And my boyfriend is determined that my next phone will be an iphone.

Cloudwalker 02-23-2013 12:46 AM

All I have is a desktop computer and a cheap tracfone. I stick with the basics and stay away from the fancier stuff.

Mehimaru 02-23-2013 01:21 AM

Technology likes to just frazz the heck out in my hands, but I still keep getting more and more high tech stuff just because....or well, mostly because someone else buys it for me.

GrannyJ 02-23-2013 01:27 AM

My cell phone is fairly basic.
It does have a nice screen on it, but it does not really do anything special.

Mehimaru 02-23-2013 01:36 AM

Well, mine doesn't do anything at all at the moment. It won't even come on.....And it's not even a year old yet.

GrannyJ 02-23-2013 01:39 AM

I have never had too much trouble with cell phones.
I think that is because I do not try to get the latest with all the bells and whistles!

Mehimaru 02-23-2013 01:55 AM

See, first one wasn't the latest and became obsolete a month after I got it, so when I dropped it in the toilet I had no choice but to get a different model, which I did and now that one is obsolete so they want me to get another different model.....Every time I get another phone it goes obsolete within a month or two of me getting it. I wish my old razor still worked. I would still be on that sucker....which in reality was my first phone, but I dropped it down some concrete steps and it broke into seven pieces. Then I got a new razor (my second phone), but had it disconnected when I lost my job and couldn't afford it any more. I got another one back in 2008...but it again got disconnected when I lost that job. Then I got my Desire, which my ex got for me. I dropped it in the toilet. And now I have a Merge, but I hate it. It slides but I never use the keypad so I'm not sure why I got it. Plus it is now an expensive paperweight.

GrannyJ 02-23-2013 01:57 AM

Oh my.
You do seem to drop them quite a bit!
