I'm not much for Warcraft--I'm no good at RTS games like that. MMOs like WoW though are pretty good :)

Well, I woke up about an hour or two ago, and figured I could stop by for some tea and cookies before work. =) I leave in about half an fifteen minutes, or so.

Jayn- I've never tried WoW. =/ I pretty much live off of Warcraft III: TFT, though. Have any of you guys played that? =o Starcraft II comes out around my bday, so I figured I might as well give it a shot. =) My friend has some keys though, so I dunno if I'll try it first before I buy it or what.

I've recently been trying out DotA (really fun game, btw.)

I'm not very happy that NCIS has been replaced by House on this channel that I watch, but otherwise it's been a grrreat day so far! =o (Frosted Flakes for breakfast. ^.-)

Oh my, I think I know what we're talking about, and then new acronyms come my way... TFT and DotA?
(But I do know what NCIS is...it's one of my favorite shows also).

Have you played all the Myst games, Yuen? I think I did only the first 3. The 4th had a playing combination that required a task be completed in a very short time. I just didn't have the hand coordination to do it, so I had to give up the game.

I've played a little of the first and second. I'm a little stuck in the second one with the submarines and all. I got all four for a sale and I should finish it haha.
my brother has been having trouble with one of the music oriented puzzles in the first game.

Oh my, I know that I played the games, but I have since forgotten all the puzzles!
I should just play them and enjoy them all over again!

That's one of the nice things about having a poor memory. I remember that I liked something (a game or a book), but have forgotten the particulars, so I know that I can play/read it and enjoy it all over again!

I tried Myst, but the puzzles seemed very arbitrary--they made no sense to me whatsoever. I find that style of game tends to require patience more than anything else, and so I tend not to care for them very much. Other puzzle-type games I enjoy though. I really enjoy anything that requires strategy, though sometimes random destruction is good too :P

fire emblem anyone...?

That's why I like the Zelda games. It's a nice combination of both. Metroid is pretty fun to watch, I haven't played it yet though, I'm waiting for my sister to finish.

Edit: I love fire emblem! Oh, and the Sword of Mana games. The only problem is I'll get stuck and get frustrated pretty easily with the fire emblem ones.

Metroid Prime 3 was pretty good. It was more of a puzzle game than a shooter. Could never get past the second boss though :/ But it made very good use of the Wiimote.

I watch the first disk in the "True Blood" TV series last night. It was interesting to see the way they translated the book. Like a true bookie though, I liked the book better than what I saw last night. Still, I have always liked Anna Paquin (no clue how to spell her name) and I think she did a good job at the lead role....At least what I have seen for watching...2 episodes.
