Just get into the spirit, and join in the conversations.

`laughs`
I find myself being ignored in many of the threads I'm posting in right now.
I just carry on a conversation by myself then!

i agree with Granny.
it's nothing personal - people don't mean it to sound rude or insensitive. (:

What are you going to buy Granny?
Actually by now it should be: what did you buy Granny?

Hello, I'm back.

I was really just window shopping. I don't really know what I want, but I wanted to get out of the house. I didn't buy anything this time. (My husband was so proud).

Generally I love to get new shoes and purses.

This talk of shopping reminds me just how badly I need to buy myself some new books. I'm itching to red some new material but I've been stuck reading things I've had since before summer ended @[email protected];

I don't have that problem, I get all my books from the library. I would spend 1000s if I bought them all. Yikes.

Hello, Plum dear. Good to see you again!

I love to read, and whenever I don't have any new books, I have a number of old, comfortable books that I've read over and over, and I still get great enjoyment out of reading them!

The library is a good, resource, Fairy. I should go more often.

I'm just glad my library has inter-library loan. It lets you get books from other libraries in the same area. My local library is a bit small, although it has a good sized fantasy section.

That sounds like very good services! I know that the libraries up north offer a lot of things for seniors. I should check into our library.

We have inter-loan in my city too. You can order any book you want and they'll send it to whatever library you want to pick it up at. I like to buy books too but usually I just have people give me gift certificates for book stores when it's present time, like birthdays and Christmas. I still have to renew my library card when I get back into the city. I'll be able to take a good walk and practice my anxiety skills then. I'm really afraid of going out alone. I get nervous enough talking on here! Lol.

In conclusion, yay books.

Yes, there's always a book to suit everyone.

The library I have now is a really good one, they even have a genealogy collection in its own room. I've been able to get a lot of research done here, that I didn't think I could at a public, popular library.

I love to do puzzles. There are many sudoku-like puzzles that I enjoy immensely.
I'm a bit bored with regular sudoku, but there are so many others to do.

Oh Granny, I had the *worst* scone this morning.. They hadn't cooked it thoroughly on the inside and it was hard and heavy because they'd left it sit for so long that the insides had kind of solidified, as though made of cement. I so wanted it to be yummy that I kind of broke the top parts that were sort of cooked off and ate them, but now I'm wishing I hadn't. Errgghhh

Do you have any minty herbal tea to help soothe my tummy?

<3
