Kat Dakuu 11-22-2009 02:14 AM

the movie?

Nanenna 11-22-2009 02:28 AM

Nah, that's not out yet. And I've heard mixed things about it. I found someone hosting the 2003 anime on a video site so I'm watching those. It's dubbed but aside from changing all the music it's not a bad job.

Saiyana2 11-22-2009 02:34 AM

well I said hi and no one responded for awhile.

Kat Dakuu 11-22-2009 02:38 AM

sorry Sai, I might have been writing an epic ( and very sad for me) death scene for one of my chars. in my novel. I really don't want him to die!!!

I've never seen Astroboy.

Saiyana2 11-22-2009 02:40 AM

aww I know how you feel I hate killing off any of my characters even the bad ones.

Nanenna 11-22-2009 02:44 AM

I don't think I've ever written off... oh wait. I did once. He was my favorite too! TT__TT

Kat Dakuu 11-22-2009 02:45 AM

I hate killing the good guys, but I seem to have wrote myself into a trap where the perfect ending I see ends with the good guys dying the the empire gaining immortality and ruling even farther reaches of the universe!!

Nanenna 11-22-2009 02:46 AM

Wow... that would be an interesting ending. Not many people have the balls to end with all the good guys dead and the badguy winning.

Kat Dakuu 11-22-2009 02:49 AM

I know, its my best friends style...yes Wings of Writing who game in here one day to talk about kingdom hearts. But I don't really want it to end that way. I planned it originally for Kiba to destroy the enemy and for there to be a kiss at the end and like...happy endings....

Nanenna 11-22-2009 02:52 AM

You might still be able to pull off a bittersweet ending...

Kat Dakuu 11-22-2009 02:55 AM

bittersweet? I don't think I've ever written anything bittersweet before. how would that work?

Saiyana2 11-22-2009 03:04 AM

aww bittersweet endings are tearjerkers.

Nanenna 11-22-2009 03:13 AM

It's like... a happy ending at a price. So one of your good guys is killed off, now he can never get the girl. Even if they do take down the evil guy she can never really have her happy ending: bittersweet.

Alas, I must do dishes. Be back shortly.

jupiter 11-22-2009 03:15 AM

Some of the most beautiful music comes from those endings.

Kat Dakuu 11-22-2009 03:18 AM

you look nice Crane. Ah, like the end of the Golden Compass series?

Aram 11-22-2009 03:22 AM

hello all... How are we all this beautiful night

Saiyana2 11-22-2009 03:23 AM

speaking of bittersweet endings hehe here is our Phantom of the Opera man

Kat Dakuu 11-22-2009 03:24 AM

hello Aram. huh? are you referring to the Phantom pic. in his sig?

Saiyana2 11-22-2009 03:25 AM

yup that was a bitter sweet ending

Aram 11-22-2009 03:26 AM

Hello
I am trying to save money up for something like Phantom of the Opera... There aren't any good masks.

Kat Dakuu 11-22-2009 03:27 AM

I saw the play when I was in NYC. It was pretty cool, but the intermission wasn't long enough for me to go pee!!!!!

Aram 11-22-2009 03:28 AM

ha ha... Yeah... It was awesome... I saw it once and then made sure I had the movie... Of course it gives my friends something to joke about...

Saiyana2 11-22-2009 03:32 AM

Intermissions at plays in NYC are never long enough to make potty runs!!! ROFL

Aram 11-22-2009 03:33 AM

nope... thats why i make sure I go before... Lol... Then my twin would make fun of me until she missed a few minutes

Kat Dakuu 11-22-2009 03:35 AM

especially with how long the lines are. Its like WGI world championship finals with the one intermission and two bathrooms in the building!! The line was almost as long as the one at the statue of liberty!! (this was like an all day event so everyone in the stadium had to pee btw!!)
