He does act like a low key Vash (That's low key?) (Well... compared to Vash he is...) (You do have a point.) I suppose if Vash bothered to grow his hair out he'd look kinda like that, but he seems more like a mix of Vash and Knives.
Even if he's technically not a vampire he still is. I mean, he even said he's a vampire that eats other vampires... so that makes him a vampire that fights other vampires... which is an "Alucard" in my books. Mmmm... Alucard. He can eat me any day. |

I saw the dream the little girl gave him. And yet... Cain hasn't finished the job yet. No... the reason he reminds me of Knives is because of what he did to that vampire in the first ep: so gory and graphic! But the way he said something so like Alucard's "limiters off" sent chills up my spine.
Alucard is Dracula backwards. He's also the main character of the Helsing anime/manga and is a vampire who works for Helsing to kill other vampires. He's basically a monster on a leash, and his leash is a woman so manly she... she... she's manlier than ... I lost my train of thought. |

Well Abel is a construct crusnick (or krusnik I've seen it spelled both ways) his blood is full of nanites ( microscopic robots) the nanites alter his body.

A lot of it was very subtle you need to get the manga. And listen to what Abel says when he transforms. It's the code words to trigger the activatation the nanites and their power level. At 100% Abel can't control them so the higher the percentage the less control he has.

I think I'll wait to read until I watch all the anime, and I have my own sources for reading. Heck, until you made me want to watch it I was reading the Black Cat manga.

Black cat is awesome of what I read. I got some ways in, but the school year ended and I never picked up the series at the public library. I was reading in school.

You can always watch it if you find it online. From what I've read so far they take a little bit of a different approach but the general plot is still the same.
