It's so nice that you still keep in touch with friends you've had since you were so young. We moved so much, that I don't know anybody from my childhood. They've long since been forgotten. One time I tried to find a girlfriend that I had played with in Kindergarten. It turned out that she had disappeared after losing herself to drugs. It saddened me so much, I never tried to find anybody again. |
Babies are cute. <3 I don’t know anyone who’s having a child right now besides my school counselor. @Granny- That’s really sad. ;-; I want to stay in touch with all of my friends. I rely on them to keep my sanity now, so I imagine in twenty years I’ll need them just as much. |

She also got on drugs, yet I could talk her into getting help and going into rehab, which she did. We were both 14, so I was quite upset. I visited her as often as I could, and we still talk alot ^-^ It'd be lovely if your best friend would have a child on the date you were born yourself. I noticed I forgot to choose a team. I'm on the same team as you Gramma. Though I doubt I'll make it for the dress x.x;; I can't focus T_T HAIII RUBI! |
@Granny: I'm sorry to hear about your friend
My friend lived across the street from me with her dad until high school when he passed away. Then she moved in with her mother who was only a couple streets away. After we graduated from high school, her and her fiance' moved to Iowa to be close to his family. We still talk on the phone about once a week though. She's gonna come back to Florida in July so we can throw her a baby shower which will be nice since we haven't seen her in over a year. |
@Mimi: Car. I think if I were on a bike I would have wound up in a canal or two on the way to campus. xD
@Granny: My cousin just moved back out to Ohio, so I don't see them much anymore either. I'm still friends with my friend from kindergarten and I've know Yuen since 6th grade. Also I have a friend who lives in Austin, I'm spending spring break with her this year. ^_^ |

@ Granny - my best friend from high school wound up being a crackhead. With kids... very sad. I tried tracking down an old Navy buddy, and discovered that he almost died in an accident, but decided that selling drugs was a fine vocation after he was booted from the Navy for drug usage. Go figure. On the other hand, I've run into old friends from school and found that they were doing really well. I always figure that you can't save everyone from themselves, but it's never too late to reconnect with people who are receptive.

That's true, Elmira dear. But reconnecting means that you have to have a means to finding them. Most of the friends I had were female, and if they changed their names, then looking on Google doesn't help.
The old neighborhoods are gone. The house where we lived in Detroit when I was 13 is now a slum, so most of the old neighbors have long since moved away. We don't dare even drive in that area anymore. It's so sad. |

Hi everyone!
I'm not sure what the convo at the moment is right now. I just finished taking my psych test so I'm just waiting for the bus now. I almost didn't have class. There was a delayed opening today for 10AM then they extended it to 12. My class was at 130pm! Also, they closed the kitchen so I couldn't eat my lunch!Well, I could put in the microwave but i didn't have a fork! That would be messy. |
Hello Yuen. You must be relieved that you had class. I wouldn't have liked a class to be cancelled after I've studied for a test.

I love cherry or strawberry.
I also love toaster pastries, but they are so decadent, so much fat in them. Then I happened to spot some toaster pastries by Fiber One. The taste just as good as the regular ones, but have a lot of fiber in them. Fiber is good, right? Good excuse to eat them, anyway `laughs`. |

Have all of you heard of Pandora Internet Radio? It’s really neat. You can start a station using a song or artist you like and it will play songs with similar musical properties and if you don’t like them you can specify so and they’ll never play the song again. I think it may be in my Top 10 Most Awesome Websites. |

@rubi: i had an AMAZING meal finally. I got a mozarella &mushroom burger with fries.
toaster strudels are AWESOME. have you had boston creme? I also like the strawberry w/cream cheese. the fattening ones, of course xD I go on Pandora!! The only thing is that it only lets you skip like 10 songs per hour. But i like it regardless. Especially if there's no radio or i don't have my mp3 player. @granny: yeah dream and i go to the same school. she's only like, 5 minutes away from me. see you later! |
@Granny: Same grade school, same high school for a year, and now the same college. We can't seem to get rid of each other. xD
