Ah, when I was in high school, if it snowed just right, even if it was just an inch, we got out. It is a little bit harder at my campus though. But since it is a community college, we have a greater chance of getting out than the university because we have more people who travel to campus from all over the place. I have to drive about 25-30 minutes to get there. Would be quicker if I actually took the interstate. XD But I've already been told that if it is really snowly, I'm not allowed to take the Rt. I have to take the interstate.

I grew up with snow I really don't like it. That why I live down south now. We're supposed to have flurries tomorrow night. I does crack me up though that when it snows everythign shuts down around here.

I miss our blizzard of '96. We had a little over 3foot of snow. I wished it would snow like that again here. I live in the same city I was born in. In fact, the hospital I was born in doesn't even exist anymore.

well the year my youngset son was born we had such a blizzard that when the snow plows went through it buried a VW and it wasn't found until spring.
We drove to my parents and came back between snowbanks that were 7 feet high. Taht was the winter of 72-73

Hello! We're talking about snow. I remember sledding down the hill at the middle school. And snow days. I've heard it's not as much fun when you have to drive through it though.

Snow is great...so long as it's on the other side of the window from me. hehehe. It's pretty too look at...and I love the way trees look right after a huge ice storm, like they're made of glass...but I can't stand the cold any more than I can stand the heat.

I really can live without snow but I do agree the trees after an ice storm are beautiful. I wrote a poem about it a long time ago I think I titled it Deadly Beauty.

I'm a writer I have been published a in acouple of magazines but no where major. I'd liek to get a novel published but i'st hard to get an agent.

Good luck :) I used to have dreams of being a published author...but have yet to finish writing anything.

Well I wished I had let my teacher publish my stuff when I was in highschool but I chickened out.

One of these days I'm going to write a book...about a cat...I'll call it "The Adventures of Yumi". It'll be a collection of short anecdotes, and then the rest of the world can laugh at my cat as much as I do. lol

I have two Star Trek novels and a Werewolf novel. And ideas for about three others.

That's awesome. I get ideas for them all the time, my trouble comes with actually getting them written out :(

ah yes, the evil actually having to write your ideas and not have them ooze from your brain onto the paper!!

Indeed :) I used to carry a mini tape recorder around with me, but it never seemed to help at all. Maybe I'm just not motivated enough. lol

I do enjoy writing my problem is I like darwing too so I want to illustate my stories too.

I have a few pages in one of my notebooks where I've been trying to write down this awsome dream I had and I'm just randomly drawing things for emphasis if I want to get the exact image, but i just can't draw the dragons that were in my dream.

I can draw spiders and flowers and that's about it...save, of course, for your basic shapes.

I tooks some art in college and am now trying to learn manga styles.
