It's got beady things in his tummy and bum and you stick him on the radiator and he heats up like a teddy hot water bottle, without the water. Or the bottle. :XD
Oh haha nice :P
My mum got it me when I was at uni because the radiator in my room didn't work so I used to shove him on the bathroom one for a bit then stick him in bed to warm it up for me.
Haha smart idea xD is he cuddleable as well??
One of my friends has got a hot water bottle but she's going to blow herself up at some point because she keeps putting boiling water in it.
Yup, he's all squishy and snuggley and soft. =3
:XD Isn't that a little too hot. |
Ace can't stand heat, he thinks his has warm blood, he could deal with cold but not warm
and aww lets trade |
I refuse to use hot water bottles or anything of the sort now
My radiator does whatever the heck it wants. I'm faintly aware that opening the window while there is snow outside is crazy.
lol why star??
My radiator didn't work and my flat mate next doors was too hot.
Maybe she was steal all your heats xD
Ace will brb need to take a shower |
because my childhood Hot Waterbottle (A grey mouse in a blue nightee with Hickory Dickory Dock nursery rhyme on the front) called Mousey-mouse burst and got ruined, I had him since i was 2 and I refuse to use any hot water bottle that isn't him
Aww poor bottle -goes to find his twin for Star-
That's sad Star, I just hope you weren't hurt.
But if you do ever find another one it's probably dangerous to use a hot water bottle after so many years. |
I wasn't hurt, not physically anyway <=[
He was under a pile of things and he just burst and began to rot <=[ He was one of those ones where you could change the cover (kinda like a pajama case thing), so aslong as it was a relatively new hot water bottle inside him, I'm sure if I found another like him, he'd be fine. I've been looking all over the internet for him aswell, but I've had no luck at all <=[ |
My wording is terrible, I meant if you keep a hot water bottle for ages they're more likely to burst. I'm sort of frightened of them anyway (I know that's ridiculous) because of the way the water moves in them. -_-
My aunt burned her hand while filling a hot water bottle for her mother that was old and worn. :/ Anyhoo, I shall stop being the voice of depression over in the corner for now. |
Ooh, I see
I'm pretty sure we changed the bottles inside him. My brother's still got his, not that he uses it, he's got a fluffy brown bear with strange eyes that scared me. My mum's got a nice mousey-mouse-ish bear that's got a night-cap on and everything. They're all rather old waterbottle covers, but I'm sure the original water bottles aren't in them still The one in Mousey Mouse seemed pretty sturdy anyway, it coped with an 8 year old sleeping ontop of it for half the night anyway x3 |
Ace is back ^^
I've never had a hot water bottle. That one sounds so cute though! At least you can recreate it with that same cover.
Oop, I've been watching things on iPlayer and now I think I ought to get some sleep. ^^;
