Now my face is all red and I'm gonna get "don't let them get to you" off my mum like I have some control over my blubbering. I mean it's not even like I feel the jobcentre has failed they've pretty much met my low expectations of them.

I was happier with absolutely no money. I mean I'm really seriously considering just telling them to fuck off because I've had enough and would rather have no money than deal with them.

The staff treat me like shit and they don't do anything they're supposed to. I've had no help what so ever to find a job like they say they do and this "guarantee" is just a complete load of rubbish.

All they've done is make me ring a phone number to get details of jobs that they could easily put on the site like they do with some of them. Especially ugh it's so annoying when I have to ring and go through giving my NI number and name and address and date of birth to get told you apply through a website!!

Jeanie, i though the point of the job centre was to make it as hard and be as unhelpful as possible. Its party of the goverment if they can find a way to skip out on something they will.

As for phoning the number they make you do that. Its the goverments way of "creating new jobs" they dont need to have you phone someone to get details they just make you do it so they can employ someone else needlessly.

It is really, yes it lowers unemployment but the down side is departments dont communicate with each other because they arent in the same place. Leading to messy thats biocracie for you. (sorry cant spell the word). Another reason to vote for david on may the 6th. So stupied systems like that are replaced and the money to pay them people is used for something worth wild.

Now they've done the same with the jobcentre, there isn't a direct line to the jobcentre you have to ring a freakin call centre and ask to be put through.

I also think I missed where "information" became "why would you be good for this" and where a "guarantee" wasn't actually a guarantee but a we may let you do this but we'll fuck around with applications and we may let you do it we may not but we're going to give a 6 month period where we may or may not allow you to take part in this "guaranteed work experience" but we'll make it sound like it's not actually that and say you have to take up one of these non-existant offers within 6 months or we won't give you benefits anymore.

HIM can't get a job because there aren't any and the people discriminated against people like HIM.

Bureaucracy. It's the same in the NHS, more redundant departments also means they can appoint more overpaid managers too.

the passport office is another one, this stupied interview system they make you go though in the wake of 9/11. subbmitting a passport application counter siged and documents proving your idenfification isnt good enough anymore. You have to attend an interview to conferm everything they already know.

There was 16 people in the office i went to in england. Lets say they all get paid the same at 13,000 a year thats 2-8,000 for that office per year and they are 52 or so around the country so thats £10,816,000 a year wasted on a pointless job.

As Kat said the NHS is one of the worst. Some of the people i work with just do pointless tasks.

They want to close the A&E where I am, and make it into a minor injury unit or what would probibly be called an out of hours GP service.

So not only will people lose jobs if you need to go to hospital you've got to travel down to Kings Mill death rate will be going up.

Him yeah they want to do that with one of my A&E units. Close the A&E and combine the walk in centre and the A&E departments into one. To be honest the only difference between A&E and Minior injury unit is the minor injury unit only has nurses on site. So if you have a cut youll be treated there. If you need an amablence for example you wont be taken their.
