What I don't get, is why singers go on Britain's got talent when they could just as easily go on X-Factor. Unless there's something amazingly odd about them that means they Can't go on X-Factor, or won't stand a chance of winning otherwise (Like Susan boyle, she'd have never won X-Factor, and some of the really talented kids who are too young for X-factor, them going on Britain's got talent, I can understand...)

but rawr, it annoys me when people do that, they wanna make it big singing? go on X-factor, and don't say you're not doing X-factor 'cos you wanna go to the Royal Variety, 'cos the X-Factor winner usually gets to go to that too if they're decent enough
