Dinner time? Well I know at my job, it's because we have two shifts. A morning shift, and the afternoon shift. It starts at 6, so yah know... It's just how it works out, I suppose.

English? I'm more of a scientific kind of person. :yes:

Best thing to do? Just say "Remove me from the list", and they generally shouldn't call back, if the person does their job.

we just use the caller id and don't answer the phone for telemarketers.

Kitteh, charitable calls aren't exempt from that?

five minutes to midnight I migfht go and lurk on the front page.

If you say Remove From List, we have to remove, either way.

If you don't answer, we keep calling until we talk to someone... It's awful, because people get pissed.

What I really hate, is that ever since I got my cell phone a little over two years ago, I've gotten all these phone calls from people wanting to give me credit and stuff for "my business." I don't even own a business nor do I have any plans to or even any interest at all in business. I've run out of room on my block list (they don't all have the "remove me" option).

I had a great convo with a guy I called about the Vog in Hawaii.... He was telling me all about the volcanic smog that rolled in every morning on the big island and how it was causing respiratory issues..... he told me off the bat he wouldn't donate, but I still wanted to talk cause I was bored.

Its not 5 minutes......?!?

Tav: Yeah, I get phone calls on my cell about my credit card. Since when did teenagers get credit cards? o.O I try to tell the people that, but they insist that I have one. :gonk:

We didn't have a remove from the list option on our charity calls.... we could put off future calls for up to 2 years though...

Recently we've gotten some lists to call cell phones, and I really hate it. Like I've considered quitting...

I get text adds sometimes. its really annoying.

Honestly, I have way too weak a stomach for nursing. It's why I had to give up the idea of being a vet or doctor when I was kid. I'd get sick. v.v

I thankfully don't get text ads.
