Yeah,all the people who would let me chill on their couch don't live close enough. I sometimes find a place to stay, here and there, but some nights I don't have any option. It is now that I wish I really had friends...I've never kept in contact with people, so it's hard...

Yes, Kitteh is outside right now. Wasting her battery for the night before she tries and sleeps. Then off tomorrow to see if I can bum a couch, and a shower, and... some electricity to charge my lappytop and mp3 player. Then some more job hunting, and wandering, and watching people... the usual hobo like stuff.

Kitteh lives in Southwest Michigan! So if you see any hobos, with a giant panda plush strapped to their back, wandering the streets in that particular area, it's totally me.

And I is looking for jobs everywhere. Is super fail right now. I have a job, but they only work me like... one day a week, so I'm only making like... 30 or some odd bucks each check, and I usually end up trying to buy food, or have to give people gas money so I don't have to walk the 8-10 miles to my college.

My family is the reason I'm outside. My mother is a selfish whore who doesn't care about anyone but herself right now, and thus she is taking it out on me,and kicking me out. And I can't even run off to some far away place because I still have to go to college or else I'll have to start paying back my loans, and I can't do that right now.

Is there not any shelters nearby? In all seriousness the weather is going to start getting colder and snow...and I really would hate for you to be in the same predicament for long. :( Michigan has real shitty winters. :(

Detroit is like...13 miles from my main place o wander, but only like.... 7 or less from my college in Dearborn. -nod nod- But I grew up in and around Detroit, so all is good.

Seriously, there must be some kinda place you can stay in the area besides on friends couches every once in a while.

Shelters? Not that I know of. I know it's getting colder,I'm working on trying to get a place to stay, or patching things up with mother if at all possible... it's just taking longer than I expected. If I could get a job, I'd be good, as I know a place to stay for somewhere around... 70 bucks a week.

Have you tried going to your local church to see if maybe they could point you in the right direction? I know when I was in a predicament they had postings for a shelter. When I finally moved out I was lucky enough to find a women's shelter to crash at for a few weeks while I sorted shit out. It wasn't ideal, but it beat sleeping outside in some foreign country. *shudder*

It'll all fall together soon enough. I've spent a lot of my life like this, and I always figure something out, so I'm not too worried. Just take life as it is, happens for a reason.

I don't want to deal with shelters, and pity, and the likes. At least not yet. If the time comes when it's just too cold, then I will resort to it, if need be... but until them, I spend the night in the fresh air, and look up at the stars.
