fanart doesn't make you an artist, dev. it's nice though. the characters look very canon.

tracing/copying/fan art doesn't count...

i dont all have fan art, i draw CHARACTERS FROM GAMES. like.. pacman.. bomberman... ness.. lucas.. donkey kong, paint kirby and me, kirby, mario and luigi, wario and waluigi, toad, yoshie, bowser setting yoshi on fire, boo, daisy, princess peach...

... Isn't that also pretty much fanart?

eh, it just takes practice. both for the eye to see the details and hand to draw them.

fanart isn't bad, dev, but if you want to become a real cool artist, you should try to create something that's uniquely yours. even if you just develop your own style of drawing the fanart.

White and black are the new ones coming out (just came out?), right? I'd go with one of those. All new pokemon and you can't trade in the old ones until you beat the game.

Doing all right, Kat. Trying to clean up my boyfriend's apartment since he decided to finally move back into it (he's been living at his parents' house ever since he got his teaching job back around October). We're going to rearrange it later at my suggestion once he's home to help move the furniture and make sure I don't mess up his electronics.

And I guess my roommate's gonna pick me up shortly since she just got off work and is going to take me back to the house since we're all gonna hang out tonight and maybe do some celebrating of my birthday.

My friends and I were hula-hooping, jumping rope and playing bubbles today. :D Then we walked into town and went to an ice cream place called Gumdrops and Sprinkles. ;) 'Twas quite a fun time. =3
