I wandered around WalMart, bought very little... just kinda mosied...

The checkout gal told me that some time soon WalMart was going to start charging 10 cents per bag for their plastic bags! Wow. That's a LOT of money!

I figure if WalMart starts doing it, so will grocery stores and all other stores.

Some places I know of already do that, trying to encourage the resuse of plastic bags or cloth bags.

I would think that a large store like WalMart wouldn't take the chance of driving customers away...

Yeah alot of places here charge 10p for bags, but they're usually the "bags for life" style. Some big chains do charge for all of them though, but they are re-usable at least, not the weak ones that break straight away D=

WalMart charges 50 cents for them, but they aren't as big...
