yeah though I forgot most of the star wars movie so when we get a house and when my dad can watch his movies I will watch them with him. My memory is quite horrible. x.x

Last November, we begged the guys behind us to keep coming.
They live in Denver, and it's a bit of a trip for them...

But they bring their RV, and stay in the same RV lot as we do, so we're always doing stuff with them. I'm going to miss them!

i'm that way too, demi lol i hope you get all settled so that you can watch them again soon!

yea that is a little ways away, jean, but i bet you can find some other people to hang out with!

first we need to have dad find a job but there aren't any to find. We are settled in this crappy apartment which all of us hate.

i managed to get another job but in my line of work the turn over is high so they always need people... if he keeps looking something is bound to pop up

it's not always little pay, depends on your position really... it'd be nice to climb the ladder but my degree isn't in this area unfortunately... it was the last thing i expected to be doing when i was in college lol

Actually, we decided to not go through the bricks right now.
It's supposed to pour down rain tonight, and we don't want to flood the cabinets.

my family raced the storm home.

I was up at 2am looking at the radar.

It was a pretty scary-looking storm!

I guess a tornado touched down west of San Antonio...

huh. that's where my brother was driving to, but he left a few hours before the storm.

Yeah...not to scare you or anything, but one April we spent about 20 minutes in a concrete culvert by the RV park...

The tornado went overhead and touched down about 12 miles from the track, taking out a mobile home park. (Why do they always head for the RV/Mobile Home parks?)

tornados are smart and want to destroy. That's why, jean. but that's a pretty crazy story. I've never hid in a culvert for any reason beside hide and seek.

haha it's ok Jean, just apart of living in this part of the country. :XP it is strange that they target trailer parks.

or you only notice when they hit trailer parks because they get destroyed.

We were in the RV lot... hundreds of RV's being a tornado magnet.
We really had no place else to go...

So a bunch of us went over to the road and there was that nice cement culvert right under the road... they all went in, and I stood out (I'm claustrophobic), watching the sky.

I'm from North Dakota, so I know what a funnel cloud looks like...
I saw it, and it seemed like it was right overhead. So I immediately ducked in too!

We crouched there for about 15 minutes, and then got out.
