i hope so... black labs are generally pretty smart too, but no one has taken the time to teach him anything so the poor thing barks and annoys... anyways... that's a sad topic

yeah.

I'm good. getting sleepy and I'm going to wake up in the morning tomorrow so I can hang out with Wingsy. I'm excited.

it is a clever name. it's one of my favorite stores. I love it more than other craft stores.

what about it makes you love it so?

I think it has a better selection of art supplies. nicer stuff. most stores are just crafty and not so good on nice art stuff. Not that hobby lobby is really an art store, but its better than some.

so what are you going to buy?

wingsy plans to make some bracelets that represent your relationship status or something from a story she liked. I want to make some funky headbands and necklaces and I need a new white colored pencil. I sharpened mine until it couldn't sharpen anymore.

oooo i want a bracelet! :yes: and funky headbands/necklaces too! you should take a picture when you make them so i can seeee!

on a side note... i think i wanna open an art shop... i've been practicing with my tablet and i want to practice making avis more :)

I'll try to remember that. I need to borrow a camera though. I don't have one anymore.

my mom and my brother both have cameras so its not much of a problem. If I commit so show off what I make, I have to actually make it. I'm keeping myself from procrastinating till next year! XD

i just never really drew people, i was more of an abstract art type of person

I guess abstract art has an appeal....just like uh, not to me. but then, I used to really suck at drawing people.

i suppose i like the freedom of abstract... i don't have to know what i'm drawing when i start

I like doing that with watercolors. I use the abstract for the background, and then add things like trees or butterflies to the foreground to make it something.

that's a neat idea... like drawing inspiration from something abstract... i've done that lots of times too, like certain shapes and watercolor splashes look like something else

yeah. our brains are trained to see shapes in abstraction, so its a natural thing to do.
