some places are really anal about stuff like that... one time i got a black eye so i decided i had enough of people asking me about my eye so i died my hair magenta! it looked awesome and people stopped asking about my eye but apparently the grocery store i was a cashier at didn't really like it... or so i heard... they never came out and told me but i heard it was talked about a lot... so friggin petty

i think horizontal stripes could be done though... just really hard

I can understand not wanting facial piercings for a waitress/waiter...

Some of those can really put you off sometimes...

I don't really like the nose rings...Yuck.

Clock only has her ears pierced and she doesn't even wear earrings.

first tattoo this one was done three years ago this month.
It's a crap picture.
second tattoo this one was done in March.
third tattoo this one was done in April.
It's Clocks biggest and favourite one.

Clock is getting two more in a couple of weeks,
and she has four more planned after that.

the third one is the one that Clock has to cover up at work.
and Clock is thinking about expanding the first one,

Linn: I want vertical stripes actually which is probably easier, but hard to do by myself. I feel I need help.

I definitely prefer to have piercings than getting a tattoo, but I love to look at it all. I got compliments on my earrings today, btw (which I made).

I'm not a huge fan of all of his work, but there's still something to admire in his style.

i really like the long legged elephant there on your arm. it's gorgeous! how do you cover it up? just a long sleeve t-shirt?
the one on your back has a lot of potential! i bet something across your shoulders would look amazing!

x1x (on my right shoulder blade - this one is 11 years old)
x2x (on my left shoulder blade - this one is 10 years old)
x3x (on the right side ribcage - this one is 7 years old i think, maybe just 6 and it's my favorite!!!)
x4x (left inner ankle - got that about 5 or 6 years ago it was so bad i don't have any close up pictures of it )
but i had it fixed a few weeks ago and now it looks like this x4x
x5&6x ( on my inside forearms, the shorter one is the left side and the longer one is the right - these ones are about 2 months old!)

i plan on getting a swedish fish (yes the red candy) i just don't know where i want to put it so that's why i haven't done it yet and i have a friend who is in the apprenticeship stages in a tattoo shop (and he is an amazing artist so i know he'll be great) and he's claimed my left arm and is working on a sleeve for me! i want either a turtle or a turtle dragon and a peony. he wants to stylize it of course, add like old school waves and rocks or whatever but he changes his mind a lot. i figure as long as he is just doodling it out on paper and not my skin it's all good to me

ah, yes, Dali's Elephant seems to be the favourite in most peoples opinion.
and yupp, a long sleeve, which kind of always gets pushed up anyways,
and customers always give me compliments on it.

and Clock can't wait to come up with a design (with her tattoo artist)
to expand the back tattoo.

Clock wants to get three feathers done up the front of her left leg,
a Dali quote on her inner/upper right arm,
and the two Clock is getting in a few weeks,
are two constellations, one of eachother of the backs of Clocks arms.

Clock wishes she had a friend who was a tattoo artist,
or well, Clock wishes she was friends with her tattoo artist.

it was the same artist who did all of Clocks tattoos,
he is amazing.

I know the person that designed my best friend's tattoo. both are long time friends of mine and they're roommates. Tae does a lot of henna tattoos on her roommies too. I wish I lived with them.

henna is supersupersuper pretty.

it is! and I like that it's not permanent.

Clock has never had henna before,
but maybe someday Clock will be able to get some.

Clock likes the permanent aspect of tattoos.
for Clock they are the only meaningful things in Clocks life
that don't change, and sometimes that's what Clock needs.

that might sound silly because they are tattoos,
but that's how they make Clock feel.

I think that's how most people feel. I don't like permanent things though because I'm not that sort of person. I'm a constant state of change. I've never had henna either though.

he hasn't done any for me yet, but he is doing bigger and bigger ones now and getting his technique down soooo maybe if i can save money to go see him again he'll be ready for some inky lovin! :P

the feathers are going to represent my two half brothers and myself.
we share the same dad, and my dads side of the family has strong native blood.

and the constellations are very person to Clock as a person.
the constellation is going to be the Cancer constellation,
because that is Clocks zodiac, and Clock grew up believing in her zodiac.
the other is the Apus constellation, it appear in July (Clocks birth month)
and it represents the bird of paradise and means 'no feet'
which Clock absolutely hates everything about feet,
so it's kind of a play on that as well.

I've always thought that I'd like to try Henna.
Not to have it, but to draw it on others.

I think I could do it.
