The way I see is that you've got to start somewhere. Everyone started out doing it wrong at some point.

Here's the basics:

- Always post in third person, unless first person is accepted.
- Try to post at least six to eight sentence's. It should be at least half talk and half action, unless your character is by themselves--where you should post in italics, with a comma after what they (he or she) thought. That or you can talk out loud and make your character a tad crazy. :P
-Ohhh, and ""<-- those are for when your character is talking, ''<--these are for when you repeat something someone else said, name a title of someone, etc. (Which you probably already know.)
- Last, but not least do your best.

some people use ((xxxxx)) or {{xxxxx}} as the way they want things done if it's not in character.
but, it seems most people just assume you know what/how to do these things and i do not know it.

Hello everyone, and I guess the thread has gone camping. I remember my first time role playing, and I wasn't role playing 'right' per se. I learned on Neopets and gained better skills as time past (years later that is). Now I am a decent role player.

I am one of those role players that don't believe in the labeling system that much. As long as you have a gist at the English Language, can use basic grammar, and understand, we're all good. ^_^;

Anyway how is everyone right now? I hadn't been in this thread in ages, so I thought I just stop by to say hi.

I'm doing well. Just eating a late dinner. I hope Uverse is available in my area soon. Then I can ditch the building's "DirecTV's" plan.

U-Verse is amazing, I had in before I moved. Now I have shitty CenturyLink, I mean it's not so bad, but the wiring in out build in ancient so almost all the outlet's are messing up.
