I'm ok how about you?

I'm okay. I'm planning my month of July with friends and work and I have crippling cramps but I'm fine. ._.

midol is usually my best friend around times like that.lol. oh what have you planned

I keep forgetting to try Midol. >_<

Well I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada... and for two weeks in July we have the Calgary Stampede. It's like a giant fair that welcomes the world to visit Calgary and its western heritage. So you get to dress up as a cowboy/girl, there's fair food, horse races, bull events, petting zoos, concerts and the 'midway' (rides galore : D). There are a lot more events but the only ones I care about are the concerts at the Coke-a-cola stage (free with admission) and the midway rides.

So this year I'm going with my friend Amy.
On July 9th we are seeing the Stampede parade in the morning in downtown Calgary. There's a lot of celebrities in the parade (last year was Mike Holmes as the parade marshal (first to be seen in the parade), this year it's the two cowboys from Amazing Race who are marshals), with music, dances, floats, horses and other western things. XD Then at 9 PM we are seeing Theory of a Deadman at the Coke stage.
July 12th I'm taking a day off work to see Steroes, Faber Drive and Mariana's Trench at the Coke stage starting at 2 PM.
On July 13th we are seeing Three Days Grace at 9PM at the Coke stage.
Our last Stampede day is going to be our 'ride day' on July 16th. We are buying midway cards that are good for the whole day on weekdays. They cost about $35 at Safeway grocery stores right now. You get unlimited rides all day for the day you had activated it. It's way cheaper than buying ride tickets.

I work with my mom now so our boss and I had planned my July schedule. I work there Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. I also have a deli job and I go there Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays. So there was a lot of work planning and telling my bosses which days I would like off for Stampede. >_<

@ Fulkth: I don't really like fair food. It's so greasy, fatty and deep fried. T-T They had deep-fried pickles and Coke-a-cola last year. I think that's really disgusting. >_<

I like some fair food, especially corn dogs. : D But stuff like fried cheese sounds just icky. XP Although the lemonade is usually good!
