i don't know if they are the same exact flavor,
i just know i love the white American and rarely eat the yellow American.
it tastes creamier to me and is delicious in baked maccaroni and cheese!

I hate yellow american too. White sounds much better.

but, yeah, it would.
try a few slices of it from the deli.
i swear i could eat the whole half pound at one time!
but then i would be miserable the whole week not being able to.....you know.

You don't even have to ask! It's run by an Italian guy and a Greek guy. It's funny, they give you samples even when you're a regular customer.

It is! I live near Tarpon Springs, which has the highest concentration of Greek people in the US, so it's not surprising there's a Greek guy.

They are so funny. It's really great to see.
