I miss being around kids. I used to run a children's animal education group where we did community projects and donated time and money to the local animal shelter. Age groups were 6-12 and it was so much fun working with kids.

It's tiring though.

Animals and kids take lots of patience, which I do not have alot of.
I think anyone who does it has a gift.

It's trying on me sometimes. It really is.

It was a lot of work but the kids seemed so interested in the animals that I brought in for the presentation, it was cute.

I remember when I was younger they brought owls into my classroom to educate us on them.

I just handled smaller animals like mice, rats, rabbits, dogs, cats, snakes, and bearded dragons. I always wanted to do wildlife education or something at the zoo.

I remember when I was in elementary school we were showed that wild animals eat mice and broke down the poop to see what they had eaten and their diet >.<'

We had that too! I always thought that was kind of weird but cool at the same time.

Yeah >.>' I almost didn't say it cause I realized how weird that sounded when describing it, but I honestly remember it cause it was one of those fun hands-on activities and I am good at those!

We had to glue the bones together after dissecting an owl pellet. I thought that was kinda weird for kids to do.

Glue the bones back together? Yeah sounds kinda weird, wouldn't the bones be partly digested and couldn't they be in parts?

Yep, they were and some were missing. I had two skulls in mine.

What is a bearded dragon?

It's a lizard. They get about 24 inches. Sweetest animals ever. They're very laid back.

I think lizards are very cute.
We get very little cameleons around here.

I love watching them when they're active. The way they do their little head tilts is adorable.
