Man.... I wanted pancakes too. The college didn't have any yesterday and that made me sad.

Pancakes do sound good too! Pancakes, eggs, toast, and tea! There's a place down the street that makes awesome pancakes and feta omelets.

Exactly! XD My mom keeps chickens and they're all females and they lay eggs like crazy. Roosters are annoying anyway. XD

xD. I love farm eggs. I'd get my own but I'd be afraid to clip their wings.

She doesn't clip their wings but they don't really go much of anywhere anyway. Chickens can't really fly too well. I mean they can get pretty high off the ground gliding but they don't exactly "fly". She has silikie chickens and they only get like 4lbs though. They're the cutest things ever. I really want some but I have to wait until my health improves first so I can take care of them properly and I'm moving soon.

Hmmm. I was told you needed to clip a certain part of their wing so they don't fly (or glide) away. I always thought chickens were cute myself.

Once established chickens go back to their coop and don't go far. I guess if you didn't want them roosting somewhere they're not supposed to then clipping can be done. I hate clipping wings though in general. I used to clip my parrot's wings when I first got them but stopped once they were trained to stay in certain areas of the yard/house.

Hmmm. Well thats pretty cool. I just think my dad was trying to steer me away from it so he didnt have to build a coop and whatnot. xD. hes pretty lazy, and he knows i don't like hurting animals.

I built my own coop and it was the coolest thing. XD It was so much work but well worth it. I had it for pigeons though and was going to convert it over for the chickens once I can get them. I love the fact that with my mom's chickens they run over to me every time they see me ride my bike up on her drive way because they know I have treats for them. XD I always bring over veggies and meal worms for them. They also love to be picked up and cuddled, like little feathery dogs. XD

lol. That just sounds sooo cute. I'm not tool equipped. I have no idea how to use them frankly. And every time I ask my dad to teach me he...doesn't.

Haha. I'm the same way. I actually just looked up plans on the internet and went from there. I honestly never thought that I could build walls that would stand up but they stood up to the weather and looked great until I tore the coop down. Now it's in my basement in pieces.

hmmmm. I dunno. I'd rather keep my fingers in tact. xD. I'll put it on my to do list though. xD

I never use anything automatic because knowing me I would cut my hand off. I mean I can't even cut veggies up without cutting myself half the time. XD

lol. I can cut veggies up fine, but I'm known to be a clutz so I'm sure ill conveniently miss the nail and hit my finger or something.

I've done that a lot! XD I also cut my finger with a hand saw. o.o I still have no idea how I managed that one.
