Good movie *nods*

LunarShinobi 05-28-2010 01:17 AM

Venus, I must know, what's on your head.

Fauxreal 05-28-2010 01:17 AM

Scary movies? I didn't think it was that scary but go watch 'Ginger Snaps' It's amazing! And has girl werewolves!

My house is on the water, so after watching it I was always afraid I would find a dead girl in the creek. XD

Acobjum 05-28-2010 01:20 AM

@Cara Tachi Try watching Night of the Living Dead and Children of the Corn whilst living next door to a cemetary and surrounded by cornfields.

That happens to me! I don't like watching horror movies alone, in the dark.

When I was staying at the hospital, my boyfriend brought me my Wii, bless his heart - along with the games he brought Resident Evil... I was like..... REALLY?! I'm NOT playing that in the hospital! By myself!

LunarShinobi 05-28-2010 01:22 AM

I don't really get freaked out by movies.
Not since I went to my friend's house and had something fly off the wall at me. -_- I'm more afraid of real dead things.

Cara Tachi 05-28-2010 01:22 AM

Lol, nice. I used to live out in the country, but I've never seen Children of the Corn.

That's why Signs freaked out my sister so much. Never really bothered me though...

Crimson_daffodils_Layla 05-28-2010 01:23 AM

Acobjum: it's not part II either, so that leaves part three

LadyKnightSkye 05-28-2010 01:24 AM

Funny story, down in Florida me and my sister were watching The Boogeyman, and we kept hearing this one crow in our ears - the house had surround sound - and we kept complaining about it. Towards the end of the movie her husband came in and informed us that the "crow" was in fact a frog. XD

Cara Tachi 05-28-2010 01:25 AM

So, while were talking movies... I just saw another preview for Prince of Persia.
Anyone interested in seeing that?

LadyKnight: Lol. XD

Fauxreal 05-28-2010 01:26 AM

I live near a cemetery now and I'm ALWAYS preparing for the zombie apocalypse.

Lady, That's happened to me!

I want to see Prince of Persia, but I'll probably wait till it comes out on video.

jessieomer 05-28-2010 01:26 AM

OH. me. me. me!

I thought it looked great too, and I'm not too into those kinda movies most the time.

LunarShinobi 05-28-2010 01:27 AM

for a video game movie, Prince of Persia looks promising.

But I hate movie theaters. so... waiting for dvd

Edit: Thank you Venus

Do you know where I can get one?

jessieomer 05-28-2010 01:28 AM

Not much for movie theaters either. just be cheaper to buy the movie or watch it online after it comes out on dvd. xD

Cara Tachi 05-28-2010 01:28 AM

I think it looks pretty good. I like Jake Gyllenhaal (sp?) in most of the movies he's been in.

I also wanna see The Last Airbender movie that's coming out.
The cartoon used to be a guilty pleasure of mine. XD

Xandriana 05-28-2010 01:28 AM

I do not do horror movies. I dislike when they call horror fantasy or sci-fi and the movie is only thinly veiled horror sometimes not even that.

I will probably see Avatar the last Air bender even thought it's directed by M. Night Shamalan

LadyKnightSkye 05-28-2010 01:29 AM

Prince of Persia looks like it will be okay. And yes, Jake Gyllenhaal (I'm going with your spelling Cara) does look mighty fine in the previews.

Crimson_daffodils_Layla 05-28-2010 01:30 AM

what's wrong with movie theaters?
Well, besides the long lines for food and drinks, and the bathrooms, and the really rude people who talk in it all the time.
I once sat down in front of a woman who apparently really wanted to prop her feet up on the back of my seat and (I didn't hear her, but my friend and her parents did) she apparently said, 'HAD to sit in front of ME' Really snottily. And she propped her feet up on the back of my seat anyway (I didn't realize she'd done that until she shifted one of them and I felt her shoe on the back of my head--it was about in the middle of the movie, but I thought I had imagined it until my friend confirmed it)

At headworks c:

LunarShinobi 05-28-2010 01:31 AM

You know what I really want to see? Robin Hood. (sexy bastard)

I'm ambivalent towards the new Avatar. I mean, Shamalan screwed up the Village.
But it's Avatar.... I luved that show...

Edit :3 thanks Venus!

Xandriana 05-28-2010 01:32 AM

I love the ones who constantly kick the seat. I have a shoulder problem and the way many theaters are set up in my area they are kicking me right between the shoulders.

Cara Tachi 05-28-2010 01:32 AM

I love going to the movies. ^__^
The huge screens, the buttery popcorn, the surround sound, the sticky floors, the chatty people, the long wait for the bathroom... I love it all.

The only think I don't like is the prices. >__>

Fauxreal 05-28-2010 01:32 AM

I also love going to see the movies! <3
