I got a Mac, so most of the programs you guys will mention I might not be able to use.

I dont draw on comptuer, just to graphic manipulation, amybe thats why GIMP seems fitting for me. x3

Blender is great, and XSI, and LightWave, and GMax *Trial version of 3DSmax, same thing but without a few features.*
And HASH: Animation Master (Something like that anyway.) Personally though, when I get me new PC, I'll be getting into an older version of Maya. (8.5 to be exact) Right now, I can barely manage to use any of the above mentioned. |
I got 3DsMax on my PC and love it! But since I made the switch to Mac, I got Maya.
BTW, I'm just fine with my programs, thank you I got so many spanners, but no one to give them too T_T |
With CrossOver you can use Windows apps on Mac/Linux.

It's not that I don't get Wine, it's just that most, and I mean almost all the exes, don't work on it.

I have a degree in Computer Animation. So I have Maya. I can't get to grips with blender at all!

I want to do Animation but I have yet to go to school. Don't have the money and my rents aren't willing to help. I was taught on 3DsMax 8. But that's because they didn't know about Maya...they maybe teaching in Maya now. I just want to learn all programs <3 That way I can work on anything. |
