Yeah, that doesn't sound very good.

Probably like most other conventions.
You walk around, grab all the give-away goodies (T-shirts,toys, etc).
Pretend that you're listening to their spiel....when all you're really doing is waiting for the funky-looking drink bottle, or the cool penguin shirts.

Heh. I've never really been to one of those conventions. I have always thought it would be fun though.

I kind of hate the free junk, personally. I like my own drink bottles and pens and post-its.

I go to fan run cons and go to the panels I find out all sorts of cool things at those.

I might be on a panel at AnimeExpo this year -- waiting to hear back from the organizer. :P

We went to some really cool comic panels when I went... which is awesome because as soon as I get out of school I'm putting up a web comic I have mostly written but no time to draw now. And my boyfriend sat in on some writing panels that applied to his work.
