Don't worry about it. I completely understand. Whatever you do, do NOT try to break them off because it hurts worse than stepping on a Lego.

I think they sell nail polish remover at the dollar store. Work on filing them way thin and use nail clippers to shorten them before soaking them in nail polish remover. It's a time consuming process, but it's so much better than breaking them off.

i want to be able to sue them again next year tho... :(
