I think Simplified was developed back during Mao's reign, I'm not very sure. Mao (I'll just assume it's him...too lazy to look it up on Google right now) developed it because he figured it would be easier for the common folk to learn how to read and write rather than the more complex letters of the Traditional. So Simplified is like...making a word less complex, with less lines and stuff. An example would be like the aforementioned '術'. Traditional would be '術', but the one Momo posted was Simplified, so it's '术', without the two 'sides'. 復 would be 复, 我很快樂 would become 我很快乐, etc.

I would translate those characters, but i am being lazy

The last four letters are 'I'm very happy'. XD

Yup. It makes it super sore. Not like bleeding or anything though. :D I haevn't had a single coke in 4 days.

If I eat too much candy (especially sour candy) it makes the roof of my mouth sore.
