Ooh, fun! Where were you? C: I'm doing great thank you. I'm at my dad's house this weekend. It's nice to see him again, it's been ages. Plus, him and his girlfriend took me out to lunch today and gave me some spending money for a gig I'm going to on Wednesday. C:

Sounds dreadful. D: It was about that hot when I went to Tennessee when I was younger. It was pretty miserable.

Oh, well it's summer here and it gets into the 100's here during the summer... but it mainly wants to make me hole up somewhere, and turn on the fan high (we don't use the AC much... although I've a feeling it'll be used today), and read on my Nook till the temps go down.... either that or go swimming (after putting on lots of sunscreen). :P
We don't get much humidity out here in Cali (THANK GOODNESS), it's just an unbearable dry heat, well for the most part--- we get some humidity, but not much. |
We get it all here except water-related weather (hurricanes, tsunamis…). There's the occasional lake effect snow that floats down, too.

We also get floods here from time to time - because my parents live right on a river.

We haven't had a serious flood here since long before I was born.

I had a decent weekend. There wasn't anything too special apart from seeing my dad for father's day. It was just another lazy weekend. :sleep:
