That's good. =] ((I'll probably be disappearing soonish, so sorry in advance if I take awhile to reply.))

Kirin Rosenbaum 02-22-2013 02:27 AM

How are you?

nemo.love_22 02-22-2013 02:28 AM

Eh, I'm doing alright - thanks. Just planning the colours for my next chickie I'm going to make. :)

Kirin Rosenbaum 02-22-2013 02:30 AM

What do you think of my avatar. Just so you know the hair color and tattoos are staying. She's a punk girl who decided to dress up.

nemo.love_22 02-22-2013 02:32 AM

I like it - Maybe try to get a bit more blue into the outfit, other than the shoes (but that's just me). Although I do like it how it is. =]

Kirin Rosenbaum 02-22-2013 02:47 AM

I can't think of anything that would work on the avatar to get more blue into it.

Guys. My house caught on fire yesterday/friday morning. It did not burn down, thankfully. It was all kept down by my grandma who got her hose and kept the fire down. the AC unit (which was not running until it turned it's self on) wires fried and caught on fire. So our floors around where the fire was are burnt, the underpinning was demolished by the firemen, the venting was torn out, and I think pipes need to be fixed. We do not have to pay for any of it since it's the land lord's fault. he hires people who are cheap and don't have a license to fix things. The wiring was badly done, which was the cause of the fire. SO on monday they will be replacing them.

None of the cats were hurt, and none of us were hurt. We are all fine. Right now we are staying at a hotel until we can go back home. We're not even paying for the hotel. My aunt has payed for us to stay for a few days and she or someone else will be paying for us to stay here a while longer. All the cats except for Teena (our oldest cat, almost 20 years old) and our dog are at home. The dog and teena are staying with us. Our land lady is going to feed the others and we will be checking on them every once in a while and going back to get things.

I think that's pretty much it. I just wanted to tell you guys what's going on.

Kirin Rosenbaum 02-24-2013 03:46 AM

I am so glad that nobody was hurt. *hugs you*

momochan 02-24-2013 03:58 AM

same here. >.< I was outside crying my eyes out and panicking. I was not helpful at all.
I was so worried about the cats and just upset in general. moma and grandma were the only ones who were useful.
Before the house was filled with smoke, I was just throwing cats outside. I was really rough, but I had to be quick.

Antagonist 02-24-2013 04:13 AM

Oh my Gods, thank the Gods that no one was hurt! D:
And you were not not helpful at all, you saved the cats!

momochan 02-24-2013 04:16 AM

I saved as many as I could.
Some of them were still in there, but they got to places where they didn't inhale a lot of smoke.
I had to comfort one of them because she was just shaking and howling.
After that I just kinda shut down and cried.
but you're right, i was kinda useful.

Oh gosh, momochan:! I'm so glad no one was hurt though, that's more important. [hug] Glad you guys aren't having to pay for anything either. Stay safe~

Wrenji-chan 02-24-2013 02:46 PM

MOMO! [hug] I'm so glad to hear that no one was hurt!

RoadToGallifrey 02-24-2013 03:32 PM

Oh my gosh, Momo I'm so sorry! I'm glad that you're all okay though! [hug]

momochan 02-25-2013 02:19 AM

iku: we'll be sure to! Mentally we're better now. Today has been depressing, though. When we went home today to clean, move furniture, and get necessities, we found four of our cats dead. They had been killed by dogs. And we have one cat missing, but i have a feeling she's dead. Minty Badger, Cookie, Pudding, Stella, and Marilin. Bless their hearts. We found out the cause of the fire, but I have doubts about it being true. Cat hair was apparently sucked up into the intake vent thing and touched exposed wires or something. But that intake vent has always had problems. So I think there's bullshit being pulled. They always fixate on the cat hair when things break, but we use really good filters and when we look down the vent, we have seen no cat hair. It's bothering us and we have a feeling the person they used is Greg, who isn't trustworthy.

wrenji and cass: -huggles- I am too guys, believe me. I'm glad the whole house didn't go up in flames, and it was really close to.

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 02-25-2013 02:29 AM

Awww! ; w; Sorry to hear about your cats. That's horrible... Man, regardless, there still shouldn't be exposed wires anywhere. Those need to be covered!

Antagonist 02-25-2013 02:36 AM

Yeah, there shouldn't have been any exposed wires in the first place. -_-

momochan 02-25-2013 02:41 AM

The cat hair might have gotten down there, but the fire wouldn't have happened if the vent had been worked on properly.

iku: I just hate that it happened, but what makes it worse is that those were some of our favorite cats. All of them were the sweetest little cats you could ask for.

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 02-25-2013 03:08 AM

Yeah. They're in a better place now~ Probably enjoying all the warm sunshine and loving they could ask for. [hug]

momochan 02-25-2013 03:21 AM

Yes, they are. Now no one can hurt them.

Wrenji-chan 02-25-2013 03:27 AM

Aw! [cry] momochan! [hug] Sorry to hear about your kitties.

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 02-25-2013 03:27 AM

Did you hold a little funeral-type thing for them?

momochan 02-25-2013 03:31 AM

Iku: We buried them, yes. But we didn't stand around and say words. We did talk about them while grandma was digging and when she finished. I think we should get some headstones for them all. Or one headstone for each of the two areas where we burry our animals.

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 02-25-2013 03:33 AM

Headstones would be nice. [yes]

momochan 02-25-2013 03:42 AM

We've had quite a few animal deaths that we don't have funerals, but we do mourn them. This time we didn't want to get too depressed about it at the time because we had things to do and couldn't get too down. But we were really sad while cleaning up. The atmosphere in the house isn't exactly happy, either.
